Open Question: whats wrong with guys wearing skinny jeans? Open Question: Salon Hair Dye ?
Jan 10
My husband went to the mall at cribs before christmas and there was a "stall" where a guy was selling skin care products. He bought me a body scrub and two jars of body butter - kiwi & orange& peppermint. The body scrub is lovely on your skin - makes it feel really silky. Has lemongrass in it so smells real good. Body butters nice too. The jars are very basic, just a name on them "Gadi" with a use by date and ingredients list. Says its made in israel and is a product of the dead sea. i have tried to find them on the internet but can''t - wanted to know if they did any handcream. Any one heard of them????

Yes I have heard of Gadi. On January 6,7 and again on the 14th, 2009 I was in London and found them at a skin care counter in the shopping mall at the Victoria Train Station. However, like you I have been unable to find anything on the internet. I LOVE the skin lotion that I purchased. When I run out, I also have no clue where to re-order from. Considering I live in the US it will be awhile before I get to London again.

The jars are as you describe. Only the name “Gadi” on the jar with the notation that it is made in Israel and is a product of the dead sea. The products are not “Ein Gadi” but just plain “Gadi” on the jar.

If you find out anything, please also let me know where the products can be ordered.

    Thank you,

I also bought some Gadi products in the Mall Cribbs Causeway before Christmas. I was told that the stall was a permanent one for three years, and that Gadi products are sold in House of Frasier now too. I’m coming to the end of my moisturizer but the stall has disappeared! I haven’t yet check House of Frasier out to see if it really is sold there.
Although these products are really good (I also have the mud mask), I do wonder whether I’ve been conned?? I was told that my moisturizer is a year’s supply in this little 30ml bottle, and I have been using the absolute minimum twice a day, yet I am already half way through the bottle and have only been using it for 9 weeks! The salesgirl put on a really good hard sale, practically halving the catalogue prices, promising that if I was not satisfied with the product I could take it back and get my money back even if I had used half the bottle!
mmm I’m not convinced, but if anyone knows what has happened to this ‘company’ please let me know! I’m currently on the search for something similar to these products but no luck as yet!

I was at Victoria Train Station too, last weekend where I bought several Gadi products.
Really love them, agree with the silky skin comment above.
They gave me an address for their website www.gadiskincare.com but when I looked up the page, I still couldn’t figure out where to go!
    Good luck.

  4. Ellen Says:

PS. They also told me that the Gadi products also sell in the USA, just don’t know where.

    Hi
I bought eye gel and hand cream on Wednesday on the upper floor at Victoria Train station. Cannot find them on the internet?! Hand cream has lovel smell..although rub in too long and it is extremely greasy on your hands!

Never take your skin for granted. Aging and environmental effects will eventually take their toll so it is always worth taking extra special care of your skin

I was in House of Fraser (Oxford Street- London), yesterday 20/2/09 and there was a Gadi stall in the cosmetics dept. The sales girls were, as described by one other review, very persuasive and offered a discount, and I ended up buying a body scrub in lemongrass smell. It feels very good on my hands but I think it is still a bit pricey (at £19.95) for what it is. Otherwise no complaint there.

I also bought £300 worth of Gadi products and got quite a few freebies. I love the cream cleanser, the eye gel, it really does take away puffy eyes within minutes. Like the night cream, but I like the glowy look, don’t get me wrong, my face feels soft and smooth. However, when the product finishes I will revert to the Shiseido range. The body scrub and the body cream in both lemograss and kiwi is fabulous.

  13. beverly Says:

Bought the Gadi eye gel yesterday (17th July) at Brent Cross shopping mall in North London. Large stand selling all the products. Rather hard sell but will report whether it makes a difference after trial.

  16. suzan Says:

I have recently bought some gadi products from Brent Cross shopping centre. I dont know if it was worth the amount I paid or have I paid too much.

    Bought gadi:
    2 x eyegel 50ml
    1 anti wrinkle cream 50ml
    Facial peeling 50ml

    1 x age defying active serum 30ml

Got a gift added in gadi active serum

All at a grand total of £150

The guy said will refund the money back in 14 days if you find it cheaper anywhere else. Anyone know how much do these products actually cost?

  17. Anita Says:

I bought an Eye Gel, Anti Wrinkle Cream and the guy threw in the cleanser for free, i spent a total of £140 in Brent Cross North London. The guy there assures me the stall is there to stay!

The eye gel is fantastic i have dark circles under my eyes and the skin was quite dry. I have been using the gel for a couple of weeks and my skin looks fantastic. I also love the face cream and toner, rather price I know but if the results are visible how can I deny it.
It hurts to spend soo much money on it, but you really need to look after your skin, esp as we hit the 30+ mark.

Love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought Gadi skin care last Xmas from Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. Loved them, especially the eye gel which is really good and lasted me 9 months (although i was told it would last 12, but who’s quibbling!) I really want to get some more and hoping they come back to Bristol again.

  22. sarah rose Says:

He gave told me that there was a problem with the details on the packaging and also gave me the website address which is www.seaspauk.com hopefully this should answer all you questions

Israeli stall workers deported after raid in Bristol
bristol | peace | announcement Thursday December 31, 2009 07:54 by Ed Hill
Evening Post Monday, December 21, 2009

Workers on stalls in The Mall shopping centre at Cribbs Causeway have been deported after a tip-off that they were working in the UK illegally.

The eight Israelis were selling hair and beauty products from two stalls, one selling “Dead Sea beauty products” and another offering hair styling.

Officers from the UK Border Agency swooped on the stalls simultaneously and arrested four men and four women working on them.

A woman and three men were working on the beauty products stall while three women and a man were arrested at the Amica hair styling stall.

The eight, all aged in their 20s, were taken to Trinity Road, Southmead and Staple Hill police stations for further interview.

Checks on their documents confirmed that all eight were in the UK on visitor visas, which did not give them the right to work.

They were kept in detention before being returned to Israel the following day.

A UK Border Agency spokesman said The Mall co-operated fully with the investigation and would not face any penalty.

Jane Farleigh, UK Border Agency regional director for Wales and the South West, said: “We will not turn a blind eye to foreign nationals working in the UK without permission.

“Illegal working undercuts honest employers and takes jobs from those genuinely entitled to work.

“If people want to work in the UK there are ways they can come here legitimately, such as applying through our points-based system for migration.”

The operation was part of a continuing crackdown on illegal workers being run in conjunction with an advertising campaign warning employers of the sanctions they face if they employ illegal foreign labour.

The agency’s team, based in Portishead, carries out an average of 45 operations per month.

It says it has removed more than 250 immigration offenders from the UK since April this year.

Among new measures aimed at cutting illegal working are ID cards for foreign nationals to help protect against identity fraud, an Australian-style points-based system – aimed at ensuring it is foreign workers whose skills cannot be found among the existing UK workforce who are allowed to come and work – and a new civil penalty system to provide a faster way of tackling employers who fail to carry out proper checks on workers from outside Europe.

A fine of up to £10,000 can be imposed for each illegal worker found at a business.

No one from The Mall at Cribbs Causeway was available for comment

I have just bought the GADI face cream from a stall in Bond Street. Its been there a while but, i have never used it. I was highly impressed by the saleman who took one look at me and knew my skin type and guessed every problem that I ahve. I spent quite a bit but, if it works, it’s worth every penny and still cheaper than some other brands that Ive tried.

  26. Paula Mahony Says:

These guys get around. I’ve just bought Body Scrub and Moisturiser and Nail kit with hand lotion from a very charming and peersuasive young man in Jenners (Huseof Fraser) at Lomond Shores, Balloch, Scotland. It was pricey but I love the nail kit and I think the scrub etc is very good. Thanks everyone for remarks and info. I was wondering how to re-order.
