PS: I also wish to mention that Xemos is CE Certified. This means (courtesy of Wikipedia):

“The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is a mandatory conformity mark on many products placed on the single market in the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health or environmental requirements. CE stands for Conformité Européenne, "European conformity" in French.”

Hi everyone,

I wish to add my input to this - I have not read all the comments, there are too many, but I will give my facts as I not only use Xemos myself, but have imported an entire batch.

Felicia - no, you do not point the laser for the full 3 pulses, but for 0.5 to 1 second only. This enables you to move the laser around faster. See info below and if you have any questions, mail me on FaceBook.

Firstly, I would like to inform everyone that I am based in South Africa and that I am a business person who research many business opportunities. I am not a spammer – in case anyone is thinking that. Also, I will be pasting this very same piece on all the blogs where complaints have been made regarding Xemos – as apposed to having to type an entire piece all over again on each blog. :)

I too, have been stolen from, by Michael Vervada and his non-existing company(ies) called Visol/Vilay when I ordered my Xemos Laser Hair Removal System of which I saw the ad on FaceBook. I was very upset at the fact that I had been schemed - this has never happened to me before. Here in SA we are behind the rest of the world – I guess scheming is not that big here yet. (Or perhaps I was just privileged to never have been schemed by a fellow citizen before).

In trying to find Verveda, I came across the manufacturer of the Xemos Laser Hair Removal System and have dealt with them via e-mail. I was informed by my supplier, that their company have suffered a great deal, due to Verveda’s scheming and the negative comments it attracted.

Nonetheless, I have ordered a batch of the Xemos Laser Hair Removal Systems, which I am selling in South Africa.

I am also using the system on my boyfriend and myself. Before importing the Xemos, I have had laser hair removal done in a local clinic. Some years before that, I had five sessions done on my bikini line. Because of the excellent results I got, I looked into getting the Xemos system for myself and also to sell in South Africa. For obvious reasons, I have extended my knowledge regarding lasering by reading much about it and I can now also add experience, as we have used it for only a few months now.

Unlike the systems in salons, it does take a little more time. But unlike the cost of salon treatments, it is much cheaper. What makes the Xemos great, is that you have it on hand, to laser whenever you need to or have time to. Like with industrial machines, several treatments are required as hair has different stages and is required to be in the growing stage, when lasering is done.

The result on my boyfriend’s chest, after only three sessions, has been very good. The hair will still continue to grow until sufficient treatments have been given. The hair in the treated area grows back finer and much slower and there are areas where the hair has stopped growing all together. We have only lasered a small section on his chest, in order to do a comparison. Other lasering is being done in the meantime.

I will admit, that it is slightly painful – depending on each individual’s pain threshold. I, for example, can handle a longer session than my boyfriend. ;) It could be because his hair is more coarse, that it is slightly more painful. Perhaps also because he admits to not handling any pain very well. However, the discomfort experienced, is temporarily felt as the laser hits the follicle. After that, the pain is gone. Unlike waxing, where the skin remains red, sensitive and sometimes even slightly swollen for the rest of the day. There may be some redness after lasering, however, that goes away soon. Again, people are all different and may experience lasering differently.

It is important that users use the Xemos correctly. I must admit, the Manual does not give all the information a hundred percent: i.e. using the laser for only 0.5 to 1 second, instead of the entire three seconds. That is perhaps why some users burn themselves. I make a point of informing my clients how to correctly use the Xemos and I also mail them an addition to the manual. The information that I send them, are questions that I have asked the manufacturer and on which they have replied.

What I have written here, is true and out of personal experience. I am a very honest person and have read in some blogs that people selling Xemos, are inconsiderate, selfish people who only want to take other’s money. That is so far from the truth. I specifically imported this product in order to help fellow South African’s.

Should you wish to check my authenticity, please have a look at the profile I created on FaceBook. It is called Xemos S-Africa (as apposed to Verveda’s Xemos Home Laser Hair Removal System. I have made a post on his profile stating that it was a scam and that I do not form a part of it).

On my profile, you can see result pictures of my boyfriend’s chest. We’ve just done the fourth treatment and he shaved all his chest hair after. I will be taking pictures on a daily basis, to record the hair growth on the area treated versus the untreated area. After a few days, I will post the pics on FaceBook.

I hope that my input has cleared much of the uncertainty regarding the Xemos Laser Hair Removal system.

Hope you all have a great day further.

Regards,

Hey Everyone,

Wow, Seems I had purchased the Viseo product before they decided to scam everyone (thhank goodness)...Anyway, it did take a while for me to ge the product but it did come, I remember calling them about it. When it did arrive it looked like it had come from Korea and in a beat up box. But everything else was fine with it.
Sadly to say, I have only tried to use it once because when I used it I wasnt sure if I was doing it right, I told myself I would call them to ask but remembering when I called them about shipment, i just put the box away and said I would do it later. Now, about a year later, remembering about I see all these posts and that the website doesnt exit anymore. So... I was wondering if anyone has any info, Since I paid for it I would like to give it a shot and see if it actually does work.
What I wasnt sure of was when you press the button for the pulse do you have to keep pointed on a single hair for the three pulses. Will it still work if you do one pulse and move on, it just seems too tedious and time consuming if that is the case. Any info would be appreciated.

Hey guys, actualy all the people and the Dr. is correct. The FDA has approved laser hair removers SILKN EPIL is one. Yes the strength is not what it is in a professional office. ie: as tylenol is to codiene but it does work. The Silkn is cool and it worked on me. I did not go to a professional so I can not compare but I do not shave the pits anymore. I used it under one arm 3 times just to see and it I have not had to shave since...For a home use product and much cheaper than the pro's.. it's cool.

Folks, Visol and Vilay have ripped off hundreds of people to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars!. The guy behind the scam is Vadim (Michael) Verveda.

It is very important that you make a report at FBI.Gov on their IC3 website, the more people reporting, the more they try to find him and the longer he goes to jail for.

Also note that Verveda monitors these boards and uses various names to tell people his products work. The good Doctor is right, the Xemos Laser made by BNB Medical is nearly useless, the professional Lasers use a lot more power than a handheld device and even then the hair loss is not permanent.

It seems that Xemos laser is not happening for many of us! I bought one on-line 2 months ago and am still waiting for it. Having read the comments posted, it seems we have all been experiencing the same frustrations. I checked the website tonight and instead of the usual "under construction" message, they now have a message stating that all sales have been suspended in order to avoid bankruptcy.
