Have you heard of this site, where they sell used Louis Vuitton bags? The bags actually appear authentic, since I worked in the store and know how the used ones should wear with time, etc. But has anyone bought from them or know anything about them? Pls don't answer if you're just guessing based on the amount of fakes out there. I was in the fashion industry for several years and I'm well aware. I also know what the real ones look like (proper placement of date codes, etc) and these look REAL. It'd be nice to find a place where you can buy and trade LV's because I get sick of the same one year after year. If you know of any sources that sell used ones, please let me know. Thanks!

Yes the bags are Authentic. My name is Suzy I’m from San Diego, I made a purchase at AuthenticLVbags.com I took my bag (a beautiful beverly mm )
to the Louis Vuitton store in the Fashion Valley Mall, the assistant manager
confirmed it was authentic. I am so glad to have finally found a site to purchase preowened Authentic Louis Vuitton handbags.

Do not listen to the girl’s message above. She is probably one of the staff from www.authenticlvbags.com if not the actual person who runs the illegal business. There is no way that their bags are Authentic Louis Vuitton. Unfortunately they are professional scam artist. Sadly I am just one of many victims of Mari Adams the owner of www.authenticlvbags.com I’m not even sure if that’s her real name, I doubt it. I’m pretty sure she is known to the local authorities, ic3.gov, USPS, BBB etc. Their site post pictures of Authentic Louis Vuitton bags but will purposely send you a brand new Louis Vuitton Replica instead. I tried to have the authenticated at Louis Vuitton & was badly embarassed by it. And if you ask for a refund, they will gladly accept your return but you will not get your money back ever. Don’t waste your time looking for a good deal outside the Lous Vuitton Authorized dealers, if the price is too good to be true then you you probably are getting ripped off. I really hope this lady gets caught & do some sentencing. She truly deserves it for running an illegal bussiness & taking advantage of poor innocent people. I hope I wasn’t too late to save you from making a big mistake. Take care.

Hi I’m from Chicago IL. I purchaed a beautiful Speey 30 from Mari Adams at www.AuthenticLVbags.com she was very professional, prompt in answering my emails and shipped my bag super fast! I paid for my Speedy with a postal money order and received my bag fast!
I am referencing my USPS tracking#0305 2200 0001 6970 6090 to prove I did make my 1st purchase in November 2007. I took it right away to the Louis Vuitton Boutique and the sales representative confirmed it was 100% Authentic.
I have now purchased a total of 3 more bags for Christmas and they also checked out. I highly recommend this site to all Louis Vuitton fans.

Mari Adams and www.AuthenticLVbags.com ARE THIEVES!! DO NOT BUY FROM THAT SITE!! I’m sure that anyone who has commented on how great that site is, are ficticious or Mari Adams herself.
Here are some FACTS about Mari Adams and AuthenticLVbags.com
The registration information for her website domain is a P.O. Box in Iowa, however there is NO corporation by that name on file in the state of Iowa.
The name listed on her registration is Betty Choo, not Mari Adams
The phone number listed on her registration info comes up with nothing and a search on Mari Adams as the owner of AuthenticLVbags.com says “no one by that name.”
Her website was established in May of 2007, yet her copyright disclaimer at the bottom of her home page says “1999-2007.”
The photo of the blond woman on her home page IS NOT HER.
The only form of payment she accepts is Money Order, Cashiers Check and e-check by Paypal, all unprotected.
Her so-called “testimonials” are all made up, as there aren’t any people found anywhere by her ficticious names.
The F.B.I. and the USPS both have a file on her. (why they haven’t shut her down is beyond me).
Her tracking numbers are all bogus, the one she sent me says that my refund Money Order was delivered, however, IT WAS NOT!
She and her company are professional rip off artists that have been at this a long time.
She ripped me off $820.00 back in August of 2007. I ordered two bags from AuthenticLVbags.com, then became suspicious she was selling fakes and cancelled my order. She said she sent me a refund Money Order, however, I’ve yet to receive it as of December, 2007.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE:

did you ever get your money back? i just ook a bag i received from her to get authenticated and it is a replica!! i e-mailed mari and she sent me an rma #. i saved all of the e-mails that she sent me and i took multiple pictures of the bag from all possible angles.
i filed a complaint with the better businessiness burea. i’m scared that she will further scam me and not give me my money back. can anyone give me any further instruction? stovall_tama@hotmail.com. also, i’ve read the “testimonials” how some damn fool claimed that they had real bags but everyone should know, SHE SELLS REPLICA BAGS!! unfortunately i didn’t find out about these problems until after i purchased the bag, i thought that i did al of my homework i googled her before i purchased the bag but only the phony reviews came up.
January 8th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
My, My, My, I just got an e-mail from “Nancy” regarding her excitement about her purchase from AuthenticLVbags.com. Touted how professional the owner Mari Adams was and how she took it to LV and it was deemed “authentic.”
As some sort of proof that she did indeed make a purchase from the thief, Mari Adams, she quoted me her USPS tracking number, just as “Cindy” did above. Imagine my surprise to find out “Nancys” tracking number was
0305 2200 0001 6970 5970, just four little numbers different than “Cindy’s.”
Now, how to you suppose that happens when “Cindy,” referenced above lives in CHICAGO, IL and “Nancy” said in her e-mail to me, she lives in CALIFORNIA?
Hmmmm, could it be that Mari Adams, the owner of AuthenticLVbags.com, is actually “Cindy” AND “Nancy” and is singing the praises of her own company, incognito, to counter the TRUTH that she is a CROOK?
Mari…..you’ve got some “splain-in” to do…
January 18th, 2008 at 3:20 am
Hello Dawn Filline,
You got a lot of nerve to just blatantly brandish people as this and that and I hope the people at www.authenticlvbags.com sue you for defamation of character. I did a little googling/yahooing and I see that you have used this tactic of automatically defaming anyone that has anything good to say about www.authenticlvbags.com. I also see that if I put in DAWN FILLINE into my search that YOU are sited on ripoffreport.com as Selling FAKES ON EBAY!! - could you just be a JEALOUS competitor of these people?!?!
So DAWN, are you Angel and Ta`Mar Stovall also(?!) looks like …..you’ve got some “splain-in” to do!!
I have only the HIGHEST recommendation for www.authenticlvbags.com
YES that’s right I am Cindy not Suzy or Mari YOU DUMB BIA…CH!!
January 23rd, 2008 at 4:02 pm
Wow, “CINDY” why so upset??? Unless of course, I’m right and you ARE Mari Adams, posing as others and are angry at all the negative press. And you know darn well, the ripoff report on me WAS FILED BY YOU and I have PROOF!! LOSER!!
February 9th, 2008 at 9:11 am
My fiance was ripped off by Mari Adams too!!! We followed all the return instructions exactly and have not seen a penny of our money. She gave us a tracking number that only showed the zipcode it was delivered too and the post office could not confirm our address. She has since stopped responding to his emails. We will be filing compliants against her with every agency we can think of. We will be the 10th compliant filed against her with the Better Business Bureau since August. I have read comments from other people that have the EXACT same story as I do. I hope it doesn’t take too much longer before the authorities step in
February 10th, 2008 at 6:44 pm
Michelle, this is soooo Mari Adams “M-O.” She’s all friendly, until you want your money back and then she plays with you for awhile, insisting she mailed out your refund, then you never hear from her again and you never see your money back. I’m so sorry that you were also a victim of Mari Adams. She always gives out bogus “tracking numbers.” That is how she’s covered her tracks this long. OH the stories I could tell you about thisTHEIF!! And how she’s tried to retaliate for all the sites I’ve hit getting the word out about her and her FRADULENT WEBSITE: AUTHENTICLVBAGS.COM.
I’d also file with RippOff report.com, the USPS, be sure the IC3 (online fraud who reports to the FBI).
She’ll keep doing it as long as she keeps getting away with it, but, hopefully, that won’t be for much longer.
April 21st, 2008 at 1:10 pm
I am currently waiting for a refund on two purses from this web wight that both were fake. I am owed 1080.00 by Mari and hope I will be able to say she has returned my money.
May 3rd, 2008 at 11:05 pm
I am also currently waiting for a refund from this web sight . Since I returned the fake item, it took already 3 week. No refund and no response.
Don’t buy at this web site!! I have already reported to FBI and BBB.
May 6th, 2008 at 4:50 am
I have ask the www.authenticlvbags.com few times to send me the Date code and few angle of the pictures from the bags i am interested. However, they simply just ignored my questions. Thus, i suspect they are not selling Authentic Louis Vuitton bags.
The conclusion are the deals are too good to be true. Stay out from this web.
May 10th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
Oh my, I recent purchased the LV from Mari Adam on April 08 as well. I have no idea what’s going on until I returned the bag to her, she kept the bag & I never see my money back ever again.
I have no idea why her web still alive.
June 8th, 2008 at 9:26 pm
All of you that have been ripped off by Mari Adams at www.AuthenticLVbags.com simply MUST report her and her website to the FBI, USPS, and the online fraud division of the FBI, which I believe is the IC3. Just Google ‘online fraud’ and they will direct you. The more reports they get, the better. Also, very important, report her and her website to RipOffReport.com. She already has several complaints there, but, what is good about that site is, if someone should Google authenticlvbags, all the reports that have been filed with RipOffReport show up. So, at least, maybe other people won’t lose their hard earned money to this CROOK. Also, know that anything you may see when Googling authenticlvbags, that is positive, was written by our CROOK, Mari Adams, trying to drum up more business for her FRAUDULENT WEBSITE. Her victims have to keep reporting her and maybe, just maybe, they’ll shut her down.
June 17th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
please don’t buy on that site. she’s a genius crook!! i ordered plenty of bags and everything is a FAKE!!! we will help each other find a way to shut her business off and i hope she will go to jail with her fake bags!!!
June 18th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
I am so glad I found these postings! I just inquired for more photos from this Mari character but I too was suspicious of the great deals. I just wanted to say thank you to all the ladies who have posted. You have saved many people from future grief and I do hope that for all those who got ripped off you will see justice served and you guys will get your money back!
June 22nd, 2008 at 8:15 am
i hope mari adams will get busted soon. she ruined everybodys lives. she gets all the money and gets away with it. what a shame! that woman should be in jail!
June 23rd, 2008 at 11:17 am
Again, I would encourage EVERYONE who has been ripped off by her to contact the BBB, USPS, IC3, and RIPOFFREPORT.com and the Police in Apache Trail, AZ cause the more people come forward, the less people will get ripped off by her. It makes my blood boil that she’s gotten away with this for so long AND that she still has my $820.00. Please report her.
July 10th, 2008 at 11:21 am
Believe me when I say you are not alone…..many many of us have been scammed by this rip off artist and are out THOUSANDS…she is one heck of a crook for sure!
Have reported her to numerous agencies and law enforcement. Notice that her site has shown no updates recently …
July 13th, 2008 at 8:43 am
i hope and pray that mari adams will be in jail soon. she totally ruined me and everybody out there! justice to everyone. to all who are scammed by her, please do report her to the law enforcement. i have difficulty doing it coz im from asian country. she scammed me thousands of dollars. i am a businesswoman here. she totally ruined my reputation. please help.
July 15th, 2008 at 9:04 am
Iani:
Same situation here….all we have are totally worthless bags and out thousands of dollars. She gives out fake RMA numbers to have you return bags with the promise to reimburse. She keeps the bags you return and you never see a dime. She is truly a FELON and it is just a matter of time before her gig is up!
July 15th, 2008 at 10:04 am
Maybe she’s feeling the “heat,” cause her website says she only has six available fakes and her other items are “sold out.” Could it be she’s closing up shop? Only to open another site, I’m sure. It just FRUSTRATES the heck out of me that she can get away with this. All the reports on her and NOTHING is done, she’s still in business. Where’s the justice??
July 16th, 2008 at 11:18 am
Maybe she’s waitting for new shipment from HongKong LV. she can’t wait to list new items up for more frauds & more scams. She told me she married a lawyer. I wonder what kind a lawyer. Must be one of these title: SCAMS, FRAUDS, or CROOKS!!!!….. I hope someday hers own lawyer can save her .
July 18th, 2008 at 10:58 am
MB…she told us the same stupid song and dance story. She is a para legal..married to lawyer….Blah Blah Blah….
I see that now she only has 3 bags listed on site and all others “SOLD OUT”
If ever there was a TRUE SCAM ARTIST and TOTAL THIEF…Mari Adams FITS THE BILL! AUTHENTICLV my sweet ass!
July 18th, 2008 at 11:22 am
We all need to go here and report: It is worth the money if we can bring her down and who knows…maybe recoup some $$$$

I must hear this Looser Adam Mari choo is in jail any time soon. I want to see her eat all hers fake bags. Do not loose any of your hard working money to this looser.
July 23rd, 2008 at 5:54 am
I think we should all report her to www.revenge.web44
July 23rd, 2008 at 6:05 am
I too have been ripped off by Mari Adams. When I told her that I wanted a refund due to finding out the bags I bought were fake she sent me an e-mail telling me to cease and desist or else she would sue me for harrassment. WTF? It is harrassment to ask for a refund? Wow! I lost a lot of money on that site. I have reported her to I3 and I really hope something happens. I wish there was a way we could all get justice.
July 23rd, 2008 at 9:37 am
Mari Adams is a 100%, full-fledged CON ARTIST!!!! ALL her bags are FAKE! I myself purchased two…had them authenticated at my local LV Boutique and both are FAKE. I suspected that they were fakes as soon as I received them because I know what certain bags should look like, color inside, if heat stamp should be there or not, etc… things were totally off on both bags and I had red flags going up everywhere! I know several people who have purchased many, many bags from her…all authenticated… EVERY ONE OF THEM FAKE!!! We’re talking THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars if you just add up what myself and those I know spent! Sure she offers you a refund on the bags, AFTER you send them to her…of course, you never see the refund and are out the bag as well! DO NOT purchase from this woman!! And once you start questioning her, she’ll start getting ‘nasty’ with you… she found out real quick that that won’t work with me!
July 24th, 2008 at 3:24 am
Check out this…looks like she has switched name and site….Looks to be her:
www AuthLouisVuitton com
July 24th, 2008 at 4:35 am
And her original site authenticlvbags is no more..
Big SCAMMING thief.

LV Addict and Lady Bug…
Yep, experienced the same scenario that you describe. Threatening emails and accusations from her soon as I notified her of the authenticity issues and the fact that local LV store verified bags to be replicas.
She tried to get me to return bags as well via her fake RMA’s numbers but I knew that if I did I wouldnt see a dime of my money.
July 25th, 2008 at 12:53 pm
Well, I see that Miss Mari has been busy setting up a new website to RIP OFF MORE PEOPLE. If you Google AuthLouisVuitton.com, you get all sorts of her own writings on various sites singing her praises about her website. I think we all need to counter all her good press, get the word out that this is the same ol crook up to her same ol tricks. This way, when you Google her new website, you’ll start seeing NEGATIVE PRESS about the CROOK SHE IS!! We owe it to the public so they won’t order from her and hence, she goes out of business.
July 25th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
I did some background checking and it seems that www.AuthLouisVuitton.com is now registered to a “Jeff Connors.” (I guess Mari Adams had a sex change with all the money she’s ripped off of people). AND the phone number she lists on her contact information, according to “godaddy.com” IS NOT registered to a Jeff Connors, but, someone else. AND the address she gives as her contact is 8246 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO HOWEVER, there is NO SUCH ADDRESS! Oh yeah, this is MARI ADAMS back at it. I’ve gone to RipOffReport and filed a rebuttal to every complaint regarding AuthenticLVbags.com to get the word out that it is now being called AuthLouisVuitton.com. I also reported her to LV, maybe we should all do that. SAME ‘OLE CROOK, DIFFERENT WEBSITE.
July 28th, 2008 at 7:12 am
Yep, it’s definitely her!!! And is it just me or isn’t it the stupidest thing to set up a new FAKE site, EXACTLY the same way your old FAKE site was set up… just different colors and annoying music!!!
Mari… we all know it’s YOU… you’re not fooling ANYONE! Keep coming up with new names, addresses, sites, etc… we’ll still find you and KNOW it’s YOU… and let EVERYONE else know as well!
You’re a full-fledged, CON ARTIST who just takes advantage of people. You will be caught and stopped!!!
July 28th, 2008 at 8:11 am
Yeah, I sure am spreading the word. She likes to advertise on the SFgate, so I keep taking out ads with them also, saying that she sells FAKE lv’s. That way, when you Google ‘AuthLouisVuitton,’ instead of seeing her fake ad first saying how great her site is, you see my ad saying that she sells fakes. Another site she likes is Yahoo, so I’ve joined them also to get the word out. I think EVERYONE who has been ripped off by her should do the same.
July 28th, 2008 at 4:55 pm
I dont believe this woman Mari Adam or lady man Jeff cornors still out there for a different web to Scam people.
Mari Adam, you will be soon in jail & eat all your Fake bags w/your cell inmate.
I reported hers web to LV, hopefully they’ll shut her down soon.
July 28th, 2008 at 7:03 pm
She/he is a career criminal, so of course when everyone started bashing her first website, AuthLVBags.com, she HAD to start another one, so she could keep living the life she’s grown accustomed to. She’s made thousands of dollars from all the refunds she’s refused to give back to people. Her new website is up and running under the name of AuthLouisVuitton.com and her old one is being “updated.” Yeah, right.
July 28th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
Okay everyone, Google, AuthLouisVuitton.com, and look under the ad I placed on Kannga, saying AuthLouisVuitton.com sells 100% fake bags….
I got alittle e-mail from our dear Mari, who’s quite P O’d, by the way and I was given the option to post the e-mail she sent as well as my answer. The e-mail she sent is raunchy, insulting, and graphic. So, I thought I’d post her e-mail and my answer for the whole internet to see what kind of person she is. Its worth a look.
July 29th, 2008 at 6:45 am
I had reported the original site, her name, address, telephone number, etc to my local LV Boutique when my purses were deemed FAKE… they were turning it over to their legal department, etc. Guess it doesn’t really help if she just keeps putting new sites out there…. we’ll just keep finding them and turning those in as well!
July 29th, 2008 at 7:12 am
Well, once the Kannga advertisers saw her VULGAR e-mail to me, they pulled the ad I placed saying she sells FAKES. However, they also pulled her ads advertising what a great site she has, so score one for the little guy. I have also reported her old and new site to LV, but, so far nothing. If I can keep getting her advertising pulled, at least thats something.
July 30th, 2008 at 10:11 am
Anon… exactly. That’s what we’ll keep doing… we just have to stay on our toes!
July 30th, 2008 at 11:31 am
i keep Googling her new site and posting ads letting everyone know the TRUTH about her fraudulent website. They are free to post, maybe all of us should place ads.
July 30th, 2008 at 11:32 am
I meant to say, I post the TRUTH on the same sites she advertises on….
July 30th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
I ordered a multi color speedy 30 in February 2007. It’s authentic, I know becuase I took it to the Louis store in Palo Alto, CA and they verified it. When I bought the bag the site name was a just authenticlv, and now it has bags at the end.
Does anyone know if maybe the orignal site was closed and then some hack opened the new site with the added “bags” at the end and started selling fakes? When did everyone’s problems with this site start?
July 30th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
I absolutly I greed w/all of you, we must stay on our toes. I am sure we can shut her down ourselve. Can you imagine how much money she took from all of us. Thousand & thousand of dollars . This woman MARI ADAM must go to hell a live.
August 1st, 2008 at 7:41 am
Hmmmm…that is a good idea Anon Ymous! I’m going to go out there and do the same! I have been finding and reading all of yours! Great!
August 1st, 2008 at 9:39 pm
Thanks for the support Cruisin One, strength in numbers, right. By the way, in the vulgar e-mail Mari sent me, she said something that PROVES beyond the shadow of a doubt that this new website IS HERS. She referred to something that only Mari Adams would know because it was something she said to me when she was doing business under AuthenticLVBags.com, even though, when she first started the e-mail, she was supposedly writing to me as the owner of this new website. She hung herself on that one, LOL!
August 6th, 2008 at 3:32 am
I saw that copy of email the crook Mari Adams sent you AnonYmous and you posted here (before the site here pulled it). I too could tell it was her for sure!
August 18th, 2008 at 7:06 pm
Just saw a RIPOFFREPORT on AUTHLOUISVUITTON.COM. Seems our Mari Adams is now Nelly Ado. New website, new name, same CROOK. This person was ripped off $2200.00, OUCH!!
August 19th, 2008 at 4:17 am
Yep…saw that too..here is the text of the message: Sad to say she isnt the only one ripped off to the tune of thousands…quite a few of us I know that fell for this scam artist routing are out LARGE sums of money!
I have a few id’s here on eBay, for buying/selling you name it. One of my id’s I use for selling authentic (of course) Louis Vuitton items. On another id, I use lots for buying LV’s.
I received a message from a ‘fellow’ eBayer, (whom, I’m now convinced is the son of a *#&%# who took my $$$) saying how she saw how I bought loads of LV items and thought I should check out a website she had used in the past to buy her authentic LV. It was named, authlouisvuitton.com… I was skeptical. However, the bottom line, is after about 6 weeks of following her site and watching the inventory flow and numerous emails between myself and “Nelly Ado”, I felt confident I found a legit source for more authentic LV.
$2200 was sent by means of a money order… (I know, I know)… and I received 4 bags in return. 2 ‘Louis Vutiton’ FAKES and 2 Balenciaga FAKES. When I notified her that I would need to return and collect a refund, she assured me this was the first time ANYTHING like this had ever happened… blah, blah, blah,… but yes, send the bags back for an IMMEDIATE refund to be mailed back to me.
Well, surprise, surprise… no refund. no nothing. nada.
Now, come to find out, before this site existed it was authenticlvbags.com under owner Mari Adams. She’s a pro con.
Do I feel like an idiot? Yes.
Is $2200 a lot of money? Yes.
Am I the slightest bit hesitant to expose her if it will help others NOT send hundreds/thousands of their hard earned $$$’s? Nope.
So, here it is. Here’s this guide, that will hopefully show up in search results when “Nelly Ado” is looked up on Google or her fraudulent website, authlouisvuitton.com … we’ll see.
Rule of thumb: If it’s too good to be true… it usually isn’t.
September 13th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
I asked her for the inside tab picture on one of her bags and she was full of excuses, like tired from work, will send pic tomorrow and weeks came by and NO PICTURE OF THE INTERIOR OF THE BAG and the INSIDE TAB that I asked from her. Its all because she DOES NOT have an authentic bag !!! I am so happy I was not fooled, always ask for interior photos and additional photos, make sure your seller has the bag on hand.
HER WEBSITE SELLS FAKES–BEWARE OF FAKE TESTIMONIALS.
September 15th, 2008 at 12:01 pm
Yep….she is truly a con and has no ethics whatsoever.
Sells 100% FAKE bags as Authentic. Stay away from this rip off artist at all costs.
September 22nd, 2008 at 11:53 am
I have never seen a penny of my money, $1080.00 as Mari Adams promised. The purse was returned by certified mail on 4/19/08. At that time her address was 10839 E. Apache Trail Suite 140-49 Apache Junction AZ 85220. I am working on finding her currently. I filed a complaint with the www.usps.com/postalinspectors. I have had several inquires about my purchase and return with the theft of my money. Hopefully she is under investigation, but the process is too slow for me. I am interested in doing something on a personal level. Please do not be ripped off by Mari Adams. That is not her picture, no purse is real, no tracking number is real, no return policy is real. The police dept. number in Apache Juction is 480-982-8260, call them also. She may have moved business site. If you have any info please post for all to see. Good Luck. Remember what goes around comes around but please do not get ripped off in the first place.

Patricia, sorry to hear you were yet another victim of Mari Adams/Kelly Ado. Her new site is called AuthLouisVuitton.com and I know for a FACT, it is Mari Adams running the site. Only now, she’s calling herself Kelly Ado. RipOffReport has a report on her new site already for scamming. See post 39 on this thread to see all the current info on our crook. If you get any ideas or hear anything, please post here as alot of us would like to see this woman get her due.

Just an F.Y.I., tonight while checking up on our thiefs website, I couldn’t access www.authlouisvuitton.com. It wouldn’t come up. Maybe she shut down again and opened under yet another name…..??

Hello All, I was almost a victim of Nelly Ado. I ordered my first ever LV bag (Manhattan GM) and like a fool I sent a certified postal money order to her. After I sent my money order something told me to google Nelly Ado. Long story short, when I saw all the negative feedback on various website’s about her I damn near had a heartattack! I went to the post office right away to see if I could stop the certified money order but was told it was already there. Today I checked my mailbox and sure enough my certified postal money order was in my mailbox. I think if it weren’t for GOD and Patricia Bechtholdt reporting Nelly Ado or Mari Adams to the post office I would be out $600 bucks. Patrica I’m very sorry this happened to you but know that you helped me and maybe countless others against those damn people. I can’t say thank you enough. Oh and I checked the site today it is shut down. Thank God!!!!

Ladies, I want to thank each and EVERY SINGLE ONE of you who reported Nelly/Mari to the post office, FBI, LV or whatever agency you guys did. I can’t stress enough how thankfull I am to all of you. As a single parent I really didn’t have $600 bucks to lose. I know for a fact the only reason I got my money back was because Nelly/Mari was shut down by everyone here who reported her. When I saw my envelope in my mailbox and it said return to sender, no longer at this address, I coulnd’t be happier. Please know that your work paid off and you guys saved plenty of victims. I’m sorry to hear about everyone who lost one penny to those bastards but know every dog has it’s day!!!! God bless you all and thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!! YOU LADIES ROCK!!!!

Lucky One, it’s sooo nice to know that at least ONE person, didn’t fall victim to Mari Adams/Nelly Ado. And also nice to know that she has indeed shut down, for now, anyway. I’m going to keep watching, however, to see if she opens up under yet another name. At least this time, her website didn’t last very long. So glad to hear you got your money back…keep spreading the word ladies!!

So happy for you Lucky One and glad to see our never ending campaign to shut this thief down is paying off.
I myself am out over $2K but am firm believer in what goes around comes around. I will continue to do all I can to call attention to this thief and notify every source I can of her illegal activities and bring to to justice. She needs to pay dearly for what she has put so many people through.

Good news! It finally has caught up to her. The subject involved-AKA Nelly Ado has recently been arrested.

I agree with all the postings. I didn’t continue looking on the site when I read this comments…as the site has been changed to look like the real one… beware ordering bags from mylvstore.com as this is the same person that’s scamming many people. The part of the site that really intrigues me is that the contact part has a personal email or from a gmail instead from the manufacturer itself.

Well, well, well…i am surprised with all these postings…theres a con artist and people are buying her shit! The best thing to do, to stop buying imitations or great deal “authentic” bags…save your money, then enjoy shopping in Rodeo drive to a real LV store. or shop at the real LV website.

*** Update**** Ta’Mar Stovall
Hey all. So I know this is late but I figured those who have had the misfortune of dealing with Mari would like the info. So, Mari ended up sending me my money back only AFTER I reported her to many agencies. I was glad to get my money back, very glad. For LV original buyer and those who say, “if you don’t want an issue then by the bags new”, that is a fool proof way to ensure a quality and authentic bag, but, true LV lovers sometimes want those bags that are no longer being made, and who wouldn’t want to save a hundred dollars or so, I would. Furthermore, people work hard for their money and can spend it the way that they choose. People have a right to not be taken advantage of. And if they are taken advantage of, they have a right to voice their concerns (i.e this forum) and hopefully speak with people who can possibly share their experiences, we all learn from each other. So stating the obvious (buying new) is not helpful to their current situation, somethings just aren’t worth saying, you know? To those whom have been ripped off by Mari, I encourage you to file reports with rip off reports, you can attach it to mine, or you can make your own. You can also call your bank and file a report because she is committing fraud and it’s against the law. Hang in there. I support your efforts! And don’t let people make you feel like you have poor judgement, sure if you could take it back you would that goes without saying, but remember you were lied to. There are many reputable LV resellers. Actually I’m thinking about selling my papillion 36 and I’m not a thief. Just know you ran into a worthless liar, who sells counterfeit bags, and she wants to scam you for your money. Not everyone is like that. For the record, I’m not Ms. Filline. That just goes to show that there are liars out there trying to twist the truth. Karma is real. Ms. Mari is gonna get her’s …… she’s gonna get it. People that get up everyday trying to scam, lie, cheat and steal are pure EVIL, and that she is. She may still have your money but she is an evil LOSER. She is a loser at life, she can never win and rise to the top while stepping on someone else’s head. Thanks to the people who find her new names and change them and post them on here, it will help people, it already has.

How to buy authentic used Louis Vuitton & avoiding the fakes!
1. The quality—Get your hands on a real one and roughly measure the weight with your hands. Also feel the leather and canvas- it should feel smooth and should look shiny (the leather).
2. THE PATTERN MATTERS!—The pattern will always be the same on all pieces of the same line (ex., all damier canvases will be the same, all monogram canvases will be the same…etc.). The ONLY exception to this is on some of the ties and scarves. ALL monogram canvases will be the same on all leather goods. On the Damier canvas, the boxes that say “Louis Vuitton Paris” on them will be spaced 9 squares apart both horizontal and vertical (4 dark and 5 light). Anything else is FAKE!
3. The price—If you get Louis Vuitton for under, say, $250 or so, you aren’t getting a bargain, you’re getting a fake. LV NEVER goes on sale or clearance, so be careful with internet purchasing. Bag prices range from $250 or so to $4, or $5,000.
4. The hardware—On most of the bags, the zippers and buckles will be brass or gold. On some, though, they can be silver. Also, pay attention to how the LV’s are carved into the zippers: Look at them under magnification. If they are clean cut and smooth there’s a chance it may be real. DON’T depend on this, though. Many counterfeiters pay close attention to detail.
5. The leather—The handles, straps (if any), and/or trim will usually be a white-colored cowhide that will oxidize (change to a darker honey color) over time. If you are purchasing a vintage bag then the cowhide will already be oxidized. When it is new it will be white on the surface but the inner part will be a red color, and that will also change color. If the white does not darken, it is fake. It will start oxidizing within the first few weeks.
6. The accessories—Speedy’s DO NOT…EVER…come with pegs/”feet” on the bottom. The bottom will always be plain with no hardware. Some bags come with locks and keys (mostly the damier canvas bags) that are usually gold or brass like the hardware on the bag itself and usually have a big LV monogram carved into them.
7. The packaging—LV bags never come with tags attatched. They may have some paper or wrapping around the straps/handles, but that’s it! NO PRICE TAGS OR BARCODES!
8. The inside—The inside of a bag should always have a small slab of leather (that will also oxidize) with “Louis Vuitton Made in France” hot-stamped into it. It can also say “Made in Italy”, “Made in Paris”, “Made in Spain”, “Made in Germany”, or “Made in USA”. If it says anything else, it’s fake. I don’t really know what all hey can say, I only own six bags and they all say “Made in France”. Some of the women’s purses may not have this, but there will always be something verifying where it was made.
9. Location, location, location—Be aware of where you are buying your LV products. The only 2 places that are authorized to sell LV things are louisvuitton.com and eluxury.com. This, by no means, means that if they are sold elsewhere that they are fake.
10. The date code and serial number—All LV products have serial numbers, but all bags have both a serial number and a date code. The only people that can read the date codes are the people that work for LV or have experience with LV products. Both codes (in a bag) will usually be hidden behind some flap of leaher or canvas and can be painted or hot-stamped.
