I got my first tattoo on my side (rib to hip) two days ago, it's leaked a bit so i take my nightly showers and wash the area gentely with Satin soap. So i only have washed it twice since getting it. I tried washing it in the bathroom but that was a big MESS. Now I put a thin layer of Aquaphor on it when i think it's getting tight and just wear loose shirts. So here's my questions:
1. Is my techniqe above okay to do?
2. How am I suspposed to wash it at school?
3. I was told to use Aquaphor on my tattoo by my artist. Their studio aftercare packet says to discontinue use of balm or lotion IMMEDIATELY once the tattoo starts to scab or peel (how can i tell the difference between it peeling and scabing versus dried up ink leakage?
