Ahhhh. What was it like for you?

I don't know why this is bothering me so much, I mean, my friend did my monroe in a gas station bathroom and I was just fine, no ice, no pain, no infection. Will it be the same for my septum? I was reading up on it with the little soft spot and everything. So it shouldn't be that bad, right?
I'm also using an open lip ring so will it be visible if I just flip it up in my nose? It's a 14 gage.
