there are kids at my school who do this. i’ve looked on some other sites and people say it signafies being a part of a gang. like the crypts or bloods depending on the color. it may also be just a trend depending on where you live.
where i am from it means you are part of the sub-culture(punks,bike clubs, car clubs,etc..)
I wear a red bandanna in my back pocket because I like getting fisted.
