go to this address and it has at least 34 reviews on it. It originally was the 'slim n shape' and now is called the 'kymaro', but it's the same thing, same design.

The product is terrible. I too bought a size larger than I normally wear because of the sizing chart that they had online was a little vague. It has two lines with different bra and cup sizes.
You’re supposed to pull the top up like a bathing suit. But even though I bought the larger size, I couldn’t even get it past my knees. Made me feel larger than I am. Not worth the money and a ripoff for the return. While I know that you never receive the shipping for returns. It cost less than buying it.You were reading a complaint about UbuyEZ.

I was up at 5:30 am and without coffee, I ordered the Kymaro torso shaper and “free” pants. It sounds like 39.95, plus lightweight shipping, but by the time you pay their extreme extras that they claim are for postage (a few ounces that were sent in the same box) which totalled
9.95 TWICE, you get a little box in a few days which has cost you a grand total of $59.85. Informercials are all the same, and they asked me for my email so they could “send me mail tracking.” I should have had my coffee before ever talking to these people with too much information, & I wish I’d checked these boards on the internet, because now, curiously, I’m being bombarded with spam. NOT a coincidence. Does the product work? I put it on and the only difference was discomfort. I probably lost a few pounds struggling to pull it on, but that’s about it. I still have my bulges, no change, but with the thick elastic over them, they’re just more uncomfortable. The waist is real bad, because the top section rolls at the bottom, making more of a bulge than I started with. I measured myself with a tape measure. Before and after are just the same. I don’t believe the women in their ads–it’s a joke, and the only weight you’ll appear to lose is the wad of money you’ve lost. When I mail the top back for a refund, I’ll still lose 20 bucks, and I’ll have the pants, and I could have bought these on eBay for about 7 bucks. I’m a size 8-10. Maybe they work better for larger women, but for me, this has taught me a lesson. No more infomercials. I hope I don’t have to change my email account now, because I know they made even more money selling my information to whoever. My advice to anyone who wants to try this product, skip the TV, and buy it on ebay for cheap, and no strings attached.

oh thank you for your advice, I was about to buy this thing but wanted to do a little research on it b4 I get them; it seems that it’s a waste product, am changing my mind i’ll rather go and get it from a store. you are so so helpful
thank you

I am recovering from surgery, found myself staring blindly at the same infomercial. Rather than calling them or doing the website, I checked ebay express and found the top (the only part I was interested in) for a grand total of 22.00 (including shipping and handling). At least if it is total BS, I am not out that much money,

Im so glad I seen this before I made the mistake of buying it.My mom was about to get it too! Its for my wedding this month.I would have been really disappointed.
April 17th, 2008 at 6:14 am
I bought it. Yes upset about the misleading price issue. I’ve never used the bottoms. I use the top a lot. You have to leave it on your skin, in other words, pull your underwear up over it otherwise it rolls up and is horrible. I wear it mostly because of the support it offers for my back but yes, I am smoother and less jiggly. Like the commercial? HECK NO. but if you purchase it on ebay and dont pay the $60 bucks, it is not a bad girdle type of product. there is no substitute for exercise. we all know this and yet we consistently fall for this type of b.s.

I wish I had looked into the kymaro body shaper better before I bought it. What a scam. It hardly fits and it rolls up and it sure does not take away the wrinkles. I am out of alot of money for nothing. P

Ladies, thank you, thank you, thank you for posting these reviews. I was just about to fall victim to this infomerical scheme myself and now I’ve changed my mind. Just like mom always said..”if it looks too good to be true and sounds too good to be true, it probably IS”!

Thank you so much ladies for posting these comments!!! I was just about to order this product.. darn, it did look good…. thanks again and have a wonderful day!

I was reading all the negative comments re: Kymaro shapers yesterday and I was so discouraged. I had splurged on the “whole pkg” ( 2 tops, 2 bottoms in both colors plus the rush shipping) as a birthday present to myself, The total was around $80 and had not yet received them. They were on my porch when I got home. Now the good news. THEY FIT LIKE A DREAM AND I LOVE THEM !!!!!!! I had ordered them over the phone and the lady I talked to asked my sizes and I was honest with her. You do have to pull the bottom on over the top or it will roll up. Of course I am still a size 13/14 but I am wearing an outfit I would not have worn since gaining 20 pounds..gotta work that off…and I feel GOOD in it..Deb

Interesting comments, I was about to say no way am I now purchasing this but then I just read the last comment. I will go on ebay and purchase it

Hello!
I was really upset when I called to order this product. I was told that a 9.99 per piece handling and shipping charge will appear. Now a 39.00 order with 2 free items (bootom and top) will not cost 79.99.
I ordered this on eba;y for 29.99 plus 5.95 for shipping.
I must be honest. I ordered this 1 size bigger and I must say I truly love it.
For the first time in a long time I feel great in my low waisted jeans. This product really worked for me.
June 14th, 2008 at 11:20 am
Okay, saw the infomercial, but after readind these reviews I am a bit sceptical. what the hell, I’ll take a 70.00 risk. I’m a size 8 w/ 2 kids. I’ll keep you posted on the fit when I receive it. until next time…

I bought the Kymaro shaper(top and bottom) at ebay express for less than the official website(abt $40 with s/h). I just wanted the black, so it was fine that I received one. I ordered the large size(I’m a size 10-12 and it’s true to size), and I have to say that I really like the top. I wear it mostly because I have major(very severe)lower back problems(disc herniation/disintegrating)as well as minor scoliosis, and I needed something that will help with my posture and delay the pain. I have to say that the Large size was true to size and really works with my posture. I also received lots of compliments and questions on how much weight I lost and how I did it. I don’t know about the 2 dress sizes less part, but my size 10 well fitting jeans looked fantastic, the “girls” were at attention, and my posture was perfect. I tucked the top into the bottoms or panties(or whichever I wear at the time). I wasn’t hot or sweaty(wore this at beginning of the hideous humid weather on the East Coast in late May/early June. The best way is to step into and pull the top over the hips(put the bottoms on first to make it easier, I DO HAVE HIPS!!)and up the torso. I’m thinking of getting just the top, as I have lots of bottom shapewear already. Still cheaper to get it at ebay express($10 cheaper than the official site)
July 9th, 2008 at 8:32 am
I ordered it as well, hasn’t gotten here but the price was ridiculous. 89 dollars total without the gifts!!! If it doesn’t work -ll probably give it away. At least I won’t lose as much as returning it.
July 12th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
I love the top, feels good, easy care. No complaints.
July 31st, 2008 at 1:57 pm
My mother just purchased the top and she loves it. It takes all of her rolls away. I am going to ebay to buy one myself. I don’t know what people are complaining about. I think she looks great with it on. Some people will never be happy, nothing is a substitute for exercise and diet. All girdles that remove rolls are a little stiff and could roll up. Her top hasn’t rolled up and she wears it by itself.

Thanks so much! I too, was about to invest. Am certainly grateful for all the testimonies. You guys are a blessing to the unsuspecting consumer. LET THE BUYER BEWARE! I’ll just do what Angie says and work harder at the diet-and-exercise.

I would say that ANY positive comment on this product is left by a Kymaro employee that is desparate to save their livelihood! This company is a huge con game!! The product is the same as Spanks although much more like grandma’s uncomfortable girdle and doesn’t hold anything in better! They refuse to give you ALL of your money back and refuse to give you the name of the CEO so you can write to complain… although the address is on your packing slip to write to “him”… I am sure the bin they go into at the back of the building is labeled “suckers”!! Not only that, but the staff on the phones are rude! I am 5′ 9″ and weigh 180 lbs. and simply wanted the baby belly that will never snap back to my original belly to lay a little flatter and when I told the girl it fails to live up to ANY of it’s claims, let alone a pant size drop of 2 or 3 sizes she had the audacity to say, “Well, it won’t take off 20 lbs.”… If I could have stuck my hand through the phone and smacked her smug little face I might have!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR AGGRAVATION!!! No matter how many positives you read, you don’t think a company that feeds off the insecurities of women wouldn’t be smart enough to plant good marketing out there where their detractors reign??
September 18th, 2008 at 11:49 am
I purchase the item on 7/28/08. Paid 49.90. I never received the Kymaro body shaper, they are a big rip off. The phone number is just a recording no one calls you back. I will report them to the better business bureau because I do want my money back.
September 20th, 2008 at 3:47 pm
Hi,
I just wanted to say I purchased the whole package (bought one set,got another free) for my birthday over the phone, received it within a week!
To start I had found it hard to get over my hips but I put the pants on first, then the bodyshaper and I tell you what I feel taller and my bulging tummy which never used to be there before kids has gone and I can wear my nice tight tops and feel good again!
I would recommend the bodyshaper, shout yourself and feel good knowing that people comment which makes it all work while, even my husband!
October 3rd, 2008 at 10:18 am
I like this thing. I find it helps alot. Although you may have to grease yourself to get it on I really think it smooths you out.
October 10th, 2008 at 8:24 pm
I just bought this and really like it, took away the bulges. I do not work for the company!! I think I will try for a black one now. The sizing is different, I am a 34-36DD and they said it would be between a med to large. I bought the med and it fits really well. I have about a 31″ waist and not a lot of hips.
October 20th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
I have 4 children. 4,3,and 2 yr old twins. I recently had a tumor removed from my abdomen and radiation soon after. So its neccesary for me to wear something around my abdomen when I start the day. I saw the informercial, I ordered the product because the 2 “binders” the surgeon gave me after my surgery no longer fit. I LOVE THE PRODUCT. Im only a size 8 even after the 4 children, but I still have that extra skin and pudge around my midsection like most moms. With this on,there’s no extra anything hanging over anywhere, its great!! I find that the tan one is more elasticy than the black. I like the way the black one feels better. It is snug, but does the trick…even in a little black dress, not just jeans… I’d order it again, easily.
October 21st, 2008 at 1:24 pm
I ordered my body shaper and when I got it, I couldn’t get it on! I tried calling customer service and I couldn’t get through so I went to their website www.ubuyez.com and emailed them and got a response right away. They told me to soak it in cool water for 40 minutes with some detergent and lay it flat to dry and that would help. I tried it and it was easier to get on and not as scratchy. I wouldn’t recommend using it for a long period of time because it is pretty tight still but it worked fine for a business dinner I had and it really did help. Once you get the right size, its not that bad of a product.
October 25th, 2008 at 9:54 am
I have read the comments and am baffled at those who don’t like it. I do NOT work for the company, nor any affiliate.
Over the years I’ve managed to put on 50 extra pounds and am not happy with how I look. My clothes don’t hang right and I always feel fat. This product does NOT make me into a size 8, but it does take 2 inches from my waist (I measured), and slim and smooth my stomach and back. Best of all, it makes the girls look 19 again. (please, make a bra that does this) I also find it helps my back and I stand up a lot taller. I have worn the top for 18 hour stretches and it never rides up or binds. My only problem is that I have sensitive skin, and in the extreme heat it sometimes itches a bit. But I don’t even know I’m wearing it most of the time. I don’t use the pants, as I still have relatively slim legs and the top goes down to my pelvic area so does the job for my tummy. I have had several people ask if I’ve lost weight. And, my daughter also uses the top and looks 20 pounds thinner, not to mention, perkier.
Those who are so against it, may I suggest you call to get a different size? It would seem that you may have misordered. Customer service is fast and cheerful and will exchange articles without a hassle. Also, once I washed it the first time, it was much easier to pull up. The first time was a bit difficult.
October 27th, 2008 at 6:37 am
I am so confused with the good and bad comments. I am relatively thin (size 6) but have sagging skin and excess fat on my stomach/tummy from to too much weight gained with my two pregnancies. I thought this would be a quick fix as opposed to getting a tummy tuck that is risky and unaffordable for me. But who do I believe with these comments? How do they get the people in the commercials to look so much better? They can’t airbrush on tv. I am just still being hopeful to find something that I can get that will help me look better in my clothes.
Thank you all for your feedback! Except for those “if any” that have been untruthfull in their comments for their own selfish purpose. That would be mean because some people such (like me) rely on other folks honest opinion to make a decision on purchasing a product.
October 31st, 2008 at 9:54 am
This product is a total ripoff!!! Not to mention it’s wayyyy too expensive for what it is, plus it makes you itch. Thank goodness I’ve never been really heavy (except for being pregnant), but since retiring I’ve gained 20 lbs. After seeing their infomercial I decided that this was just the thing for me so I could (maybe)once again wear my clothing which has been just hanging in the closet, so I ordered the top and also got the “free” (what a joke)bottom. I tried both pieces on and then tried to get into a skirt which is a size 12 (but I now wear a size 14). Wrong! There wasn’t that much difference in my waist size and I’m still almost $60 poorer!!! I don’t know how they do it on TV, but it didn’t work at my home. The only thing slimmer is my wallet.
October 31st, 2008 at 10:28 am
I agree with Maureen. I didn’t get the correct size the first try but they exchange all the pieces if they don’t fit! I would suggest adding 10lbs to your weight and going by that since they can run a little small at first. I never tried soaking it, but I can assume that would help. Its also completely washable in warm soapy water. There are a lot of products out there that I have tried and some left a lot to be desired. I must say that the Kymaro Shaper was my best bet to date. If you go online, you can email them and they are quick to respond. I would suggest giving it a try–it definitely worked for me!
November 1st, 2008 at 6:45 am
Tracy - what size did you order? I’m just a litle taller than you and about the same weight.
I’m 5′10, a 38DD and wear a size 14 now. I’m working my way back into my size 10’s but could really use a garment that gives me back support and could use a little smoothing out until I can get back into Pilates.
Anyone have a size suggestion? I was going to order it off eBay to save $$$.
November 2nd, 2008 at 10:39 am
Hey gals….it is true “if it sound to good to be true it probably is” I was going to order but revisited my “spanx” now thats the deal….yea somewhat uncomfortable but fro what I am reading about the Kymaro…it doesn’t even do the job while being uncomfortable.
November 2nd, 2008 at 4:40 pm
hi they advised me size 16 to 18 for our top size grrrrrrr I was a size 12 going on 13 bottom// now..but guess what.. I got in my my sze 12 jeans with no probs

I was watching the infomercial about the body shaper and they had several larger size women looking slimmer after putting the body shaper on under their clothes. I was going to order it but something told me if this product is very good for larger women such as myself, why is the model on the infomercial so skinny. I think if this is a wonder product for larger women to look smaller, then they should have a larger women modeling the shaper. The infomercial shows the thin model with the top and bottom body shaper on.

I ordered the top only on eBay for $29.99 and shipping was free. After reading all the negative comments, I got worried, but when I got the item, I’m satisfied with it. I’m not back to a size 2, but it did help flatten my post-baby stomach enough to make me not look pregnant anymore. It also helped with boosting my bust up. It’s also not too uncomfortable. It’s comfortable enough to wear it under my clothes all day. I think it also helps with my posture.
November 7th, 2008 at 4:00 am
I’ve been going back and forth with this product ever since I saw the infomercial a couple months ago. I’ve been looking into something I can wear under my wedding dress next year, but I thought I’d check out the reviews first. And now I’m even more confused. A lot of the positive comments are mixed, some sound like the girls from the commercial and some sound legit. For those who may have found a better product: can you reccomend something so I don’t have to feel scammed by Kymaro OR ebay? I’m not very big, only 150lbs, but the fat I have isn’t very proportionate–it’s all in the front and I’m tired of people asking me if I’m pregnant
Help, anybody?
November 8th, 2008 at 5:52 am
I was going to buy this for my wife as a present. Good thing I like to check reviews before I buy anything! Thanks to all of you for putting your reviews on here, you saved me money and headaches!
November 8th, 2008 at 2:35 pm
I just purchased the product and so far I am VERY HAPPY with it. I feel 10 pounds thinner and not to mention that my posture is better too. I would definately recommend the product. I bought top and bottom.

I am so glad I read all these comments. My husband made a comment and said ” I’d believe it if they actually showed the stomach, that could be a “Norbit” made stomach. I was about to order/add to cart, then I decided to google this product. I also had questions about the rolling part. As we all know, these type girdles tend to roll. I also noticed how much it would cost after you pay for the “free” set. What a crock. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
November 11th, 2008 at 8:56 am
Since the negatives FAR outweigh the positives, the overall rating for this product has to be a negative.
When i read reviews on Sassybax and Spanks there are about 20 positives to 2 negatives.
Using logic that tells me that Kymaro is not all it claims to be!
November 11th, 2008 at 10:53 am
This is the biggest scam! They will tell you to get 3 other items as free gifts that are yours to keep and charge you 9.95 per item for a total of 39.95 that is non-refundable. Only the original body shaper can be returned. The quality is horrible. You will look heavier and be uncomfortable in it! Another losey item made in China! (yes it is made in China) Do not waste your money like I did!!!
November 12th, 2008 at 4:01 pm
boy I am so glad I did a google on this product I was waiting for payday friday or I would have fallen for the scam I would have paid tthe shipping for the 3 free gifts and thought it would all be worth it if I was to loose 4 inches off the belly area
November 14th, 2008 at 4:40 pm
Ok, let me tell you my experience with this company. My advice to all: even if you like the product, there are products out there that will do the same thing…this company has very poor business practices and scams a lot of people. No matter how good a product is,(which I think this one definitely is not) no company with bad business practices should be in business! Do NOT give them any more money!
First of all, I’m sure we all know by now that the infomercial and their “free” gifts are extremely misleading. But, since I was going on vacation, I went against my better judgment and ordered them anyway. After, I went online and saw the many many sites with blogs and bad reviews against them. I wish I had done that first. I changed my mind, called them back to cancel and was told that I had to call the return department and I had 24 hours to cancel. THE 24 HOUR GRACE PERIOD IS IN ITSELF A SCAM, SINCE THE DEPT YOU HAVE TO CALL HAS THE HOURS OF 9 TO 5 PACIFIC TIME. I called the very next day in the morning to cancel my order and you have to leave a voice mail and nobody ever called me back. I left for vacation, and when I returned it was sitting there on my porch. I called them to tell them they can just refund me for everything since I canceled the order, they told me there was no record of a voice mail left by me.
I feel that at this point, I have to inform you that I have looked at other websites reviewing this product and have seen many blogs complaining about the very same thing. This apparently, is a regular practice of this company. To simply ignore the cancellation and then claim they never received it.
It was only when I mentioned all of these websites, and threatened them with a class action law suit that they agreed to refund the majority of the amount. Notice: not all of the money. It took me a few minutes to agree because believe me, with my experience and all the negative comments I see from other people, I really feel like this company needs to be sued!!
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR PATRONAGE, NO MATTER YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT THE PRODUCTS.
There are much better products out there anyway. This one doesn’t review well.
November 14th, 2008 at 4:54 pm
OK,here is my 2cents. I ordered this product and I love it!! I have the Miracle garment (at $125.00), and hated it. It has the bones in it and the hooks up the abdomen, and showed through tight fitting clothes. I bought the Kymaro, and it was a huge difference. Now, I consider myself a big girl, 38D and size 12 clothes. The muffin top always spilled over my pants. With this product, I am still a plus size woman, but the bumps and bulges are smooth, even the back fat under my bra in is smooth. I wear this product every day, and I do get comments over my ‘weight loss’ and my posture is greatly improved. While it is a little tight getting on, it is well worth a few minutes of struggle to look and feel great in whatever you wear. But this is only my opinion, and I will be ordering more in the future. My only wish is I wish it came in more colors!!!
November 17th, 2008 at 10:43 am
I bought the Kymaro body shaper right from their site, yes paid almost $60.00. I tried it on and I think it is too tight and is uncomfortable. I wanted to send it back and was unable to locate the invoice. They said on line I needed a RMA # to make a return or exchange and I am trying though email to get a copy of the invoice emailed to me. I tried to call customer service and forget it, you never get to speak to a human. I received a response to my email, but it did not offer the way to get the RMA#.. Well the saga continues.

Hi
I too was going to order this product. But wanted to find out more about it.
Thank you. Also someone said it was made in China. I was going to buy some makeup product on Hsn or some station like that and they said it was made in China. Doesn’t anyone know that products for your body and face made in china are dangerous. I don’t even buy food or toothpaste if it is from China. The water is so polluted.
Thank you
sherry

Hi:
I love the body shaper..works great for me.
Originally ordered via the website a size 4 based on the sizing chart shown. But it was too big for me and didnt have any support as too much material around the waist. Sent back and got the size 3 and works great!
Now the bottoms are true to size so stayed with the 4 as I carry most of my weight in the bottom portion of my body.
November 29th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
I Ordered this product and it was way too tight, I had to rub baby powder all over my body to get it on and once I got it on, I had to go to the bathroom and I couldnt get it off.
When I walked fast the top would roll up and sit in one of my many rolls. It looked horrible! I am 240 lbs and 5′2. I thought this was going to be my ticket to skinny but boy was I wrong! I still looked really big and it didnt make my stomache looks slim it still made by tummy look pregnant. When I put the free gift on (the pants) I felt like they were cutting off my circulation. my lower legs got all red/purple color after wearing them for only 15 min. I thought i was going to throw a clot. dont buy it.
November 30th, 2008 at 3:35 am
deshaquanda,
i seriously doubt that you were honest about your size if you that that terrible f an experience with this shaper. something similar happened to me because i thought, gee, if my true size is good, then a size smaller will make me look even better, right? WRONG. it wasn’t until i exchaneged it for the proper size that i saw how awesome this product really is. to all the ladies who complained about rolling, it only rolls if the fit is too small. i guarantee if you exchanged for the next size up you all would be writing very different reviews. i’duy this product again and again.

Madison— I am your size… what size did you order? I’m torn as to whether to give it a try….

Hi Ladies, I am so glad that I read this. I have found a real nice pair of jeans that have spandex and they fit well. I bought them at Bealls of Florida (they have a website but you won’t find the jeans there, the tag reads:SAG HARBOR 99 per cent cotton, 1 percent spandex, made in INDIA, RN#51735). These jeans have been wonderful. I purchase them a size smaller and it takes a half hour for them to stretch to comfort levels but they are real nice. They come in tall, regular and petite. There are other companys that carry these also. When I buy them, they are on sale for $30.00. They fit the tummy, hips, and address shaping of the bum. Good luck and I hope you can find these cuz they are wonderful! Thanks again for the heads up on Kymaro…shouldn’t even have considered since I’ve already got great jeans.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. I’m 5′5′ 240 - way to fat but I just wanted to smooth out some bulges! These products were a nightmare to get on, I sweated all day and was itchy…..I ended up “peeling” them off at work! It was such a relief! I washed them and layed them out to dry, they were not that much easier to put on and “man o man” do they make you sweat! I NEVER expected to look even 10 lbs lighter, I just want a smoother look, and I can’t say it did that! Save your money, there are no “free” gifts, just extra shipping to cover their costs….. after the holidays I guess it’s diet time “again!”

WOW!! I am glad that I found this…I think I will stick to my Spanx. Plus when you buy those (Spanxs)you can actually see how big they are for each of their size. I bought one at Von Maur, it was 70 or 80 bucks but well worth it!! It is a one piece, goes up to under your bra and comes with “bra straps” that loop around different straps of your bra back to the Spanxs. I love it!! I am 5′5″ and weigh 210 lbs.. I carry most of my weight in a big booty and thicker thighs and hips. So the Spanxs help in those areas while I try-I have hypothyroidism- to loose some weight. Thanks again ladies for helping another satisfied with another product customer stay happy with that other product!

Thanks ladies (& gents) you just saved me ALOT of $$!!

I simply LOVE both pieces of the Kymaro Body Shaper that I purchased through Interwood.com! I hesitated at purchasing a size larger as they suggested but am very glad I took their advice! Especially after reading how some people haven’t been able to get them on! Not only has the shaper “exceeded” my expectations, it’s come with a couple of bonuses! One being that my internal furnace acts up at will and this garment doesn’t make me warmer! The second is that I’ve always hated wearing my bra because of upper back problems. The shaper gives me better posture and now my bra doesn’t bother me either! I will be recommending this product to everyone! Thank-you Kymaro!!

The kymaro is a real rip off do not waste your money or time. I should of researched this product first of all it rolls up and know it’s not to small or to big and it does not make you look thiner at all !!!!!!!! Oh yhea my grandmother purchased it too and she feels the same way
December 2nd, 2008 at 10:33 pm
WHAT A JOKE !! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I am turning my paper work over to our consumer affairs dept. and attorney general ! They beat you out of your money by saying it is for shipping and handling ! DO NOT BUY THESE !!!
THEY DON’T WORK AND YOU WILL SPEND $89.00 and get$39.00 back!!
December 2nd, 2008 at 10:46 pm
Also, I am not an overweight perso, I do work out, but after 3 kids by c-section I have a lower stomch roll. I did everything they said in the instructions and I even watched the commercial while trying them again, THEY DIDN’T WORK ! I expected to loose 2″ and for it to hold my roll smoothly - it did not do anything they said it would and you could still see lines and all. I was honest with my size and really wanted it to work - THEY DON’T ! I have a spanx that does wonders now !!
December 3rd, 2008 at 8:55 am
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! It took over 3 weeks for this company to credit my card after returning their bodysuit. Your time is too valuable to deal with this company. Go somewhere else where there are more competent people in their customer service.

WOW! I’m so glad that skepticism sent me a’Google-ing for more info on this product. I saw the super-long infomercial, half asleep, groggy from sleep meds, at about 4 in the morning. I’d just invested a small fortune in a new wardrobe, after I finally convinced myself that I would never wear a size 10 again in this lifetime. But I wanted my clothes to fit, without “MommyTummy” and “back fat”. I just got a pair of Spanx Power Panties which took me down one pants size. The Kymora product looked great for the price UNTIL I went on the UBuyEZ.com website and discovered all of the hidden prices for the FREE items. All I needed was a body shaping top and thought this item would be less expensive than Spanx. WRONG ANSWER! My Spanx bottom was only $36 with $5 s/h. I can get a top or bottom which goes up to my bra for about $40, making the whole set about the price of two Kymora sets. However, I can RETURN the Spanx for a whole lot less and not feel ripped off. I can’t thank you ladies enough for sharing your experiences which will keep others from making this company rich selling a product which just doesn’t work. Off to BareNecessities.com for more Spanx!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
BTW, for the women who like this product, it would help others if you would share your original figure sizes and then the size of the Kymaro item you are pleased with. For example: you are a 38DD wearing size 14 pants at 5′-8″ and 175 lbs, and you ordered the Kymaro in a size 4 top and size 3 bottoms. Maybe this garment does work for some people and the disgruntled ones just have the wrong size. That would over-ride the many “cons” here (too tight, made in China, rolls up, etc.) With all the hidden charges, it still costs the same as one set of Spanx - but one set is all you really need. As for the infomercial, in retrospect, I think those plus-size women modeling the Kymaro had “fat suit” pieces on for the “Before” which they removed once they wiggled into the Kymaro. A thin model would work as well because she would have skinny arms and legs with the “Norbit” tummy. And notice how tight those models wear their clothes. Jeans skin-tight, sweaters pulling in the front. If they bought size-appropriate clothing, they probably wouldn’t even need a body shaper! Even if this item worked, I’d stick with Spanx because I just don’t like being conned with all of the extra “sorting” charges. Doesn’t every online vendor have to sort out and match up the items ordered? UBuyEZ.com is ridiculous!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:42 pm
I just purchased this through ebay. it was only 9.99. those are hard to find, but look under “by it now.” I am about a size 8 or 10, but would like to get into my size 5 jeans again. I am tired of not being able to fit into anything I own!! I will let you guys know how it worked for me. It has got to help, even if it is just a little. I don’t mind being uncomfortable. what is uncomfortable to me is trying to fit into my jeans. urg=)
December 9th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
i saw the infomershal at 10:00 at night right before i went to bed. lets just say i couldent look away i watched the half hour and was amased but, i forgot in the morning what the stupid thing was called so i waited for the thing to show up and, it did i watched it but i caught a few things that i didnt the first time. like when they show the before and after pictures, one girls paints were a difrent shade, she obviously changed the paints or they changed girls.i thoght of buying it but was worryed so i looked online at the revews and i see now that the little $$$ i get could be better spent i like yoga so i boght a dvd and i have to say i lost 50 pounds screw the “hide your fat” get a grip and lose the pounds of fat i havent lost waight becuse in the yoga i lost fat but gained mussle if you want my opinion you feal better if you take it off instead of hideing it becuse you have to take it off sometime and “woosh” the fat is still there dont feal horable about yourselfs i did becuse i wasent skinny but people like me for me and always have and if you look around you will se that as well that they will be more proud of you if you work it off just like me, instead of telling them “im so insicure that i cant lose the pounds i have to hide them” and for the same price you can join a real program and feal good about yourself and how you look wthout fealing ichy or uncomfy or sad that you dont look like the movie stars we are all beautifal and we are all loved wether we look like a plastic modle or not
December 10th, 2008 at 6:19 am
Thank God I looked up information about this product! I was going to buy my mom and I one because she complains about her buldges all the time. Now I know I won’t waste my money and save my mom and I the discomfort.
December 10th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
I tried many garments after my recent surgery. The best ones were from Vedette. They have a store on eBay. Vedette Outlet I think. I also really liked Marena, but they are very expensive. Well worth the money though. So comfortable, and I washed VERY often and it retained it’s shape. I still wear it even though I am 8 months post surgery.
December 12th, 2008 at 9:45 pm
I bought a Kymaro Body Shaper on e-bay for $39.99 no shipping and handling. But no returns, I got burned. They sent me one 3 sizes too small and now I can’t return it!
December 13th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
I LOVE IT!!!! I am an exercise physiology professor and need to look thinner than I am=-) It is amazing and it is the BEST most COMFORTABLE undergarment product I have ever bought!!! Since I put on a bunch of weight (40 pounds!!) the past two yrs., I don’t feel comfortable in any (cannot fit in, rather) of my small clothes. It does make me feel about 20 pounds smaller!! I am guessing I could fit into a size 8 now? I bought it on EBAY for only $20 for the body shaper. I also bought the bottoms for only $9.99 w/ little shipping. Don’t ever order from an infomercial…they will sneak prices in there, and try to get you to buy “ez” other items while they have you on line.
December 13th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
Most women in Hollywood wear spanx for special occasions. They cover all sorts of bulges from panty seams, bra seams, etc. Not a big deal, IMO. I also used to know a young guy that was friends with the Cyrus family…it seems like once you
December 13th, 2008 at 6:58 pm
I just left a reply above, but I wanted to add that I have been wearing this all day. It has helped my back and posture. It is so comfy!! It also helps w/ stomach (gas, to be frank) pain. The minute I took this off to take my bubble bath, my stomach swelled back up. My son even said that I look so much thinner. I think I can fit into my jeans again=-)
December 15th, 2008 at 6:13 am
BEWARE This is a SCAM! The Kymaro people purposely send you the wrong (small) size! The free items (9.99 each) are not returnable. I’m out 80 bucks!
December 20th, 2008 at 7:57 am
I too had my credit card ready to type it in and decided to read some reviews. Thank you ladies so much for this information. Eighty dollars may not be much so some but to me it is alot of money. I know there are some good reviews but I cannot afford to take the chance. I will go to a local store and see what I can find as I really like the concept of a body shaper. I am sorry that some of you lost money on this deal. The infomercial is go good and makes you want to purchase it right away. Oh well, everyone has to make a living I guess.
December 20th, 2008 at 8:10 am
The shipping charges for this product are a definate rip-off. I think the key to this product working is not your size but the length of your torso. I think this top might work for me if the supportive part were longer and the plain part were shorter. Unfortunately because of where the tight part lands on my body it creates bulges I never had to begin with. Saldly even with the refund they offer I can never recover my money since they charge $9.90 each to ship 4 items which combined with the packaging weigh less than 2 pounds. I fell really stupid for falling for this.
December 22nd, 2008 at 12:47 pm
I think a lot of the pros are probably Ebay Sellers promoting their own products. Why not, why not?????
December 27th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
actually i am suggesting to buy it on ebay…i do NOT sell kymaro on ebay=-) if you can find another kind/ brand, then you should do what works for you. i am just suggesting that this brand is the best one i found…And i bought it for only 9.99!!!
December 27th, 2008 at 4:47 pm
i was just wondering, Barb, why would someone sell kymaro on ebay. they wouldn’t make any money. most of the ebay items for the body shaper are resells, from someone who doesn’t like it or the wrong size.
December 29th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
I don’t agree with most, the top is absolutely wonderfu, may not make you sizes smaller, but gets rid of the rolls, which I think is what matters! I wear the top EVERY DAY, huge difference!!!
As for the bottoms, not worth a penny, very difficult, and not worth the effort. I really do rely on the top though, feels wierd now if i don’t wear it, as well as those great tops that don’t “fit” right without it on!!
December 30th, 2008 at 7:22 am
OMG!!! I sooooo wish i would have taken a few mins. to log-on and read some reviews but it was 3:00 am in the morning so I took a chance.
GOOD NEWS: I actually like the top but the rolling situation is insane. It is definitely snug and DOES help smooth out the saggy baby belly issue but you have to constantly keep pulling it down and tucking it back into your jeans or else it will bunch up in the middle of your belly. I’m a 38D and they sent the XL. I wonder if I exchange it for a “L”, will it be tighter and stay put? I doubt it. It would be perfect if that made it as a one-piece shaper with the legs attached.
BAD NEWS: After one day of dealing with the roll-up, i decided it had to go back. Also the bottoms are not ‘high-waisted’ so they cut right across the middle of the belly - NOT a good look! So, i checked the delivery slip only to discover that the original beige top can be returned but the bottoms and the second so-called ‘freebie set’ are all mine to keep (along with a good $40.00 in alleged NON-REFUNDABLE ‘delivery charges’!!). What a crock.
December 30th, 2008 at 10:33 am
Thanks for the honesty. I too saw the infomercial late night and thought it would br the answer to all my clothing problems. I know things are different for different people, but I think I’ll pass. When I pay for something I like to get my money’s worth. Thanks for the comedy; I was in here crying-laughing at some of the comments.
December 30th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
Don’t buy it! Does not help slouch and definitely rolls at waist. I had to pay return shipping to get a smaller size in an exchange so I just threw it out instead This is a rip off!
December 30th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
IT IS JUNK DO NOT BUY IT….
December 31st, 2008 at 11:06 am
IT’S JUNK. DON’T BUT THIS. I BOUGHT IT AND GOT THE BLACK ONE TOO. I WAS CHARGED 93 BUCKS. It was horrible. It sucks. I filed a compliant with the BBB. My calls have went unreturned. I have tried to get a hold of people for day at a time. Nothing was done. It’s a total scam. It’s ill fitting and does not feel good on the body. Discomfort. Just go buy spanks, don’t waste your money or time.
January 4th, 2009 at 9:41 pm
Good product, however I could not get past the smell. Has anyone else had that problem? and if so, how did you get that smell out of the top.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:37 pm
I received my shaper today. It is a large. I guess I ordered the wrong size. It is cheaply made and rolled up when I tried on pants with it. It is two big. I should have got a medium. I picked the wrong size. I think my sis in law will buy it from me. Shes been wanting one also. I am a size 8. I got the large size because thats what was on the chart. It was easy to get on. It would be just fine if it fit correctly. Thats the price you pay when you have to guess. Anyways. It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. Just wish I had ordered a medium. These must come from different manufacturers. I didnt smell anything at all with this one. It was neatly packaged and had no odors. I was so afraid I was going to be ripped off. But It is my own fault for getting a large when I need a medium. I dont think I am gonna try that again. I am going to J.C Pennys. I hear they have some that I am going to try on first.LOL. Good Luck.
January 7th, 2009 at 7:18 am
YIKES!!! I almost bought this thing… glad I checked into it before hand. I have enough “sliming” underwear in my draw that rolls up and looks worse then before. Thanks ladies for sharing your horror stories.
January 7th, 2009 at 9:21 am
Be realistic. No shaper can make you look slimmer. Just smoother. I love the top. I wish they were cheaper so that I can buy a few more. Never tried the bottom one. The top is very comfortable and doesn’t roll. Makes me feeling like wearing everyday. I’ll try Ebay express.
January 7th, 2009 at 11:22 am
I love mine - they are so great! I am so sad that everyone has not had the same experience. I was guarded when I ordered and I have tried spanx and the highwasited ones still rolled on me and the open crotch never quite worked right. But Kmaro is unbelievable! I am a size 18-20 and it doesn’t make me smaller just smooth and no bumps or lumps- even helps with eating and hunger control for me.
January 7th, 2009 at 11:25 am
Also smell goes away after you wash it and let it hang out- I hit mine with some Downy Wrinkle releaser and they don’t smell- like I said they work GREAT for me! I am wondering if others who tried to return did not buy direct. Well not everything is for everyone.
January 7th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
There I was sleepless in South Australia the middle of the night when the Kymaro ad came on and I thought - I have to have one of those!! Couldn’t muster the energy to get out of bed and find my credit card but had a notebook and pen next to my bed so I took down the name and phone number. Was just about to ring and order one this morning when I decided to google the name for some reviews and found your site. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Ladies for writing your opinions here! Seems like like every other infomercial product this one is a dead loss too. I am happy to have found your reviews and saved myself $AU100 PLUS POSTAGE AND HANDLING PLUS the other ’small fee’ for the complimentary black set!!
Cheers!!
January 9th, 2009 at 12:15 pm
I did not buy this product, however, I used my sister-in-laws and it worked great for me… I dont know the number size but on the tag it was an xxlarge.. I am 5′9, 38G, size 16 (pushing 18) and very very close to 220lbs, but definately not over… i am going to buy it. I didnt have any smell issues. The only thing I did not like about it was that it is very high in the back/neck area. I did not have any rolling up issues and i wore it over my panties under my jeans… i got many compliments….
January 13th, 2009 at 10:32 am
I saw some of their infomercial, and decided to go online to get more information. After speaking with an order taker, I was ordering 4 items; 2 colors, thinking that the total purchase price would be $39.95 plus $9.95 s&h. I asked her more questions, and found out that they are charging $9.95 twice making the total $59.85. I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who has negative comments. Needless to say, I cancelled the order.
January 14th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
I got caught up in a scam like this about five years ago and had an experience like Jeni’s, with the 24 hour grace period scam. I was so angry that I did get the Better Business Bureau involved (which was why I knew to visit a site like this BEFORE buying this product). Since this other company also wasn’t answering the phones, making it impossible for me to cancel my order within the 24 hour grace period, the BBB advised me to cancel it via a same day telegram, which I did, and although the telegram cost a little money, it was still a heck of lot less than I would have lost. Then I called my credit card company and warned them that I had cancelled the order by telegram (and provided them with the confirmation number), so if they sent the payment through, I would be legally covered and they would have to eat the cost. The credit card company immediately deactivated my account number and gave me a new one so that the payment couldn’t go through…problem solved! The scammers did NOT send me their product, but the BBB advised me to return it via certified mail if they did.
Ladies! Don’t just surrender to the scammers of this world! Call the BBB and ask them if there is anything you can do to get your money back. At worst, by reporting scam artists like this to the BBB, you’ll be helping to get the company shut down so they can’t scam anyone else; but at best, you might still be able to get your money back.
After what I went through, just hearing how this company treats its customers is ENOUGH reason for me to NOT buy their product, whether it works or not.
Good Luck!
January 17th, 2009 at 6:12 am
Thanks, Ladies, for the comments. I had seen this infomercial and was contemplating buying one for myself and one for my daughter. After reading about the business practices of this company, I will save my money.
January 17th, 2009 at 9:00 am
I recommend going to Lane Bryant or somewhere that carries Spanx and buying it if you want something that does what Kymaro does. I own the nude and the black and I love it. They were expensive (I think $39 or so each) but they do exactly what Kymaro claims and you can try it on before you buy. It does make a great difference.
January 19th, 2009 at 2:28 am
I did not buy this product, though I’m watching the infomercial right now! lol
I just wanted to say that you can find a wide selection of products like this at your local department store (Sears usually has a good selection). I’ve purchased a few over the years that I’ve picked up in person and have always had good luck. Don’t be sucked in by the infomercial! Maybe if the ShamWow! guy was selling them…..:)
January 19th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
I purchased this piece of junk and immediately sent it all back to them. I not only don’t have the “FREE” items but was still not refunded my $79.75. They state that $39.80 is for shipping & handling. I ordered the correct size (I’m not fat by the way…5′8″, 145lbs.) but it was almost impossible to put on and took a crowbar to get it off. Uncomfortable, dye stained fingers, made ridges were there were none before, etc. If you recommend this product, then I have to suspect that you are somehow connected to this SCAM. They should be prosecuted and put out of business. WOMEN BEWARE! It’s the only product I’ve ever ordered from an Infommercial and it will certainly be the last. Words cannot describe how HORRIBLE this product is. Wish I had read the MANY complaints on the internet before I played this order. Would have been better to have thrown the money out the window. When I called Kymaro I said, “Well, if you have to charge me shipping, then return the free items.” They said they couldn’t do that because my account had been cleared. So, no free items…no money! BUY IT AND YOU’RE CRAZY!!!
January 21st, 2009 at 9:41 am
Thank you to everyone who posted a review of this garment. After watching the infomercial I also began to search out some information about the company and the garment.
I wanted to reiterate the main point of a previous post here by Jeni. I agree with her in that the company has many dissatisfied customers that they have not handled in an appropriate or professional manner. This company has not shown an overall good business ethics and is riddled with red flags that consumers should avoid in my opinion.
We all will see an increase in the -easy diet, diet pills, lose inches, burn fat- type of infomercials because the new year always bring out those trying to prey on individuals hoping to lose the winter/holiday extra pounds, so we need to note the red flags in these type of ads.
For example:
Shipping and Handling not clearly stated in the infomercial along with the price.
The “free” gift that the narrator states “just pay the small shipping and handling fee”. Why not just state the fee? So not providing all the information in the long infomercial is a problem. I mean it isn’t like they didn’t have enough time.
Why not show how the garment fit the model without clothes? It would not have been anymore revealing than a bathing suit with the correct undergarments on and we could actually see that was what the model had on in the advertisement.
I also believe they didn’t show the measuring tape reading before only stated the “inches” but in the afters they zoom in on the actual measuring tape. I have to ask why?
Negative reviews from consumers on the internet. Yes, all products will have some negative reviews but this product has a high amount of negatives in relation to the positive reviews out there.
This type of company offers the too good to be try product that we all hope that this time isn’t a scam. Unfortunately, we have to spend $60+ to find out and there are too many red flags for me to take that risk.
January 22nd, 2009 at 12:58 am
Uggghh. Im happy with the product but the false advertising about “free gift” is a bunch of baloney. they guise cost in shipping I took the package to my local post office and the cost should have been $8.90 and yet I was charged $45.75 for shipping. I will call my CC company to dispute charges , and agreeably NO NONE answers the phone , I hope I dont see the commercial again , i will call the station and report this as well…jiminey crickets what can you expect from china….and although i am smoother in my clothes i didnt lose 6 inches…Spanx are better from your local retailer
January 22nd, 2009 at 4:18 pm
I almost regretted buying this product while I was reading some of the complaints above. However there were many other posts from people that expressed their satisifaction with the product. I am 5 foot 8 and 160lbs., 34B size 10 pants, and a little bulge at the hips and stomach. I do not have high expecations for this product because I only need to lose 10- 15 lbs more to meet ideal weight.
For those of you that are truly upset with this product, re-evaluate your body type and your expectations, then try to eat right, exercise, and lose some weight. I cannot wait to get my new body shaper. It’s gonna help me out until I shed the rest of the weight by April.
January 28th, 2009 at 3:27 am
Boy, after reading these reviews, it sure tells me it depends on the person and what the person actually expects. If you’re a size 13/14, I don’t care what you wear, you’re not going to look like a size 9/10. I’m a realist.
But, I did order this product, full body shaper (plus ordered the jeans another time). Yes, the fees are high but I feel it was worth it. I am a 36DDD and no one-piece body shaper fits me. If one even gets close it pulls my girls down towards my…. This is the first product I have ever tried on that not only leaves my girls squish-free, but gives me cleavage because of the way it hugs on the sides. At 50, that’s a tough one. And, the roll-free look makes me feel like a million. Can I wear a smaller size clothing? No. But, I feel much better in things I haven’t worn in quite a while. I like the look so much it has inspired me to lose weight (12 lbs so far) and excercise. Plus, I get compliments and who wouldn’t want that?
One thing I did learn is to try Ebay before buying from the infomercial. My overall rating-thumbs up!!
January 28th, 2009 at 8:12 am
please could you tell me were i could get a perfect body shaper from? and that works
January 28th, 2009 at 9:07 am
I am hoping to try it soon !!!. hi shelby please could u let me knw if the kymaro shaper works i really really want to lose weight
January 29th, 2009 at 10:08 am
I am glad I found this site. I agree that the logical conclusion is that this product doesn’t live up to it’s hype (as if the “free” scam weren’t enough1). I will not purchase this. Thank you for all your information on this product!
Oh, in response to Ramon, who left a comment in November. Even if I complain about being fat, bumpy, clothes not fitting, etc., I would not be happy to get a body shaper (i.e. girdle) from my husband. Lingerie, yes, girdle, no. Ladies, any comments?

I live in the UK and ordered the Kymaro Body Shaper (no panties etc) last year through their UK distributor. According to my clothing size at the time, I was recommended to order the size 5. When I got it home, the bottom of the top was half way between my thighs and my knees, and it was like wearing a dress…so I sent it back and asked for the size 4….big mistake. After struggling for quite some time, and getting it up over my knees and it being a giant roll around my thighs, I gave up. I sent it back and got a refund. I now wear shapewear from another company here in the UK, that had a 4 day deal, where I got a slimming body with shorts, a slimming body with regular pantie shaped bottom, a pair of high waisted slimming short, a pair of slimming panties and a camisole top…all fit great, all are comfortable and I paid HALF of the price then what I did with Kymaro! And they work! Even my 7 year old noticed!

Let’s keep in mind that not everything is for everyone. Just because there have been those with some negative experiences, that does not mean the products is a ‘bad’ product.
This shaper is excellent for special occasions, to wear under a business suit, to wear to work/school, or any other occasion. Its is seamless and the fabric allows your skin to breathe. True, the garment may roll but only if you purchase the size incorrect for your body type. If you are apple or pear shaped, you may want to take that into consideration before looking at the size chart, as it is made for the ‘average’ body type.
Obviously you cannot put this garment in the washer or dryer, so it helps when you soak the garment with fabric softener (like I do with EVERY undergarment before I wear it) and lay it flat to dry.
For me, it is more comfortable to tuck the bottom of the top into the shorts for a seamless look.
Granted, the shipping costs are a little steep, but Spanx charges over $60 A PIECE…which is RIDICULOUS. At least I can get 4 pieces for the price of ONE Spanx garment.

I just got sucked into calling to order the body shaper but as soon as the 3 free items were going to have $9.95 shipping and handling each I called the whole thing off .. that was enough of a scam to know that the product probably isn’t that great either .. from these reviews I feel better that I said never mind! thanks for the comments

Hi ladies 1 just finished watching the infomercials and was a hop skip and a jump away from ordering the bodyshaper……but after reading all these mixed reviews I will stick to my regular shapewear!! Thanx you all have been a great help!
February 6th, 2009 at 9:36 pm
Thank you ladies. I was just telling my co-workers today that I was going to order the lovely life saver Kymaro body shaper tonight. But something told me to research it a bit more. What I have been reading here and what I have learned from marketing school is that business often pay people to post positive blogs about their products. I think I will stick with my 30mins walking and will try to find a similar product at the store. That way I could always return it without having to deal with rude customer services.
February 7th, 2009 at 8:32 am
I just saw the infomercial and thought I check it out online. The website won’t even display. After reading the reviews, I too have mixed emotions. With today’s economy, I don’t think I would risk throwing my money away on this product. Thanks for all the comments!
February 7th, 2009 at 5:04 pm
what do we know about kymaro jeans?? I saw for 1st time early a.m. for $39.95… to good to be true ?????
February 8th, 2009 at 12:02 pm
First off I’ll confess that I’ve only read the first 30 or so comments.
I have been considering buying this product for some time now. It appears that a lot of you got sucked into the leading line & didnt listen very closely to the whole commercial.
It makes you APPEAR as if you’ve lost 2 sizes because it smooths you out and makes you look slimmer. You won’t acctually wear smaller clothes, you won’t acctually lose weight. You’ll just look better in the clothes you have.
That’s what I got out of the infomercial, which from both the good and bad reviews here, I think it lives up to that.
I’m concerned whether or not it will work well for me because I have a very drastic indent on my belly at my waistline. I just want something to controll the rolls so that my clothes lay flatter & don’t bunch into the dips.
Still considering it =]

I too bought the kymaro body shaper off of an info-mercial. I had went to belks looking for anything that had the sort of posture support that this claims to give, but had no luck finding what I was looking for. So I purchased this over the phone. The lady asked me my size ( I am a 10/12) and sold me a large. I also fell for all the “free” gifts (2 tops 2 bottoms) and ended up paying $79.75 without the rush delivery. Over all I guess it is okay, I get a little hot in it, and the top does ride up. I will have to try tucking it into the bottoms like others have suggested. But, I do not feel like it is supporting my back at all, and it kinda hurts my underarms where the material sits funny. Maybe my shoulders are too narrow or something, but I still slouch my shoulders in it.
I guess if you really want to try it, then definately get it on e-bay. I wish I would have, and I would return it, but that is such a rip off too. I would only get $39.95 back (the price of just the nude top) the other $40 they get to keep for processing and delivering my “free” gifts.

Ladies!! This product is based on an easy concept. Go to the thrift store, and if you are an XL girl like me, go to the size small section and find a top that’s all polyester and spandex. When you put it on, it should feel extremely tight, we’re talking pancake chest. Take it home, cut the fabric until when you put it on, it falls right under your breasts. This cheap and easy idea will smooth you out, lift the breasts, and support your back. Yes, it will roll up at times if it doesn’t go past the belly button, but for a couple bucks and one scissor cut, well worth the try!!
February 16th, 2009 at 7:35 am
I bought the kymaro off e-bay which is much cheaper then from them directly. But I too think I got the wrong size. I ordered size 4 because thats what the chart said to get, then I tried it on, it was way too big! It did not hold any thing in and I still had the rolls. But I could not return so I got out sewing machine and I made it tighter. Now I love it! I am the kind of girl that doesnt have much of anything to brag about in the bottom half, but when you get past the waist look out! I have alot of rolls and big breast. I always gain wieght on the top more so than the bottom.( I am a blooming onion) So if you are like me and just want to get more of an smooth figure and not to look so ill portionate than go for it! Just buy from some where cheaper. To me every women is bulit different and have diferent taste on how they want things to fit, so just try it. Off e-bay you can find some for only 30.00 and if doesnt work, your only out 30.00 bucks. I also have the spanx, I love those also but it rolls down in the back! I have to have hubby help tuck it under bra to help stay up. Any other sugestions?

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
This is one of the worst scams out there. I returned everything I ordered; they kept $75 of my money and I had no recourse WHATSOEVER. They charge a hefty price for “express shipping” that turns out to that they just use the same old flat-rate shipping box from USPS. And all your free gifts you paid shipping and handling for? Everything was in the same flat-rate box. So that means I paid over $55 for what costs them $7.98.
I took these items out of the (flat rate) box, and started laughing–seriously, the shapewear bottoms are those pantyhose bike shorts that sell for about $4.00. The upper shapewear is so bad, like a hernia truss or something you’d find in your grandmother’s attic. Truly, we laughed out loud and put it all back in the box and shipped it back. Laughed, until I realized they made $75 from me for absolutely nothing. I hadn’t even unwrapped these things, and of course there’s no refund for all the stuff I paid for besides the one shapeware top that felt like it was made out of canvas. It’s disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves. Oh, and the ‘lash extensions’ they tout on their site turn out to be the same kind of individual false eyelashes they sell at every drug store in North America for under $5.00.
You can get a better quality shapeware garmet at ANY retailer; this one is so poorly made and of such low quality that this must be the only way they can unload them, by scamming people with infomercials and a water-tight profit policy that benefits them and scams the public. Seriously, go to TJ Maxx, go to Dillard’s, go to K-Mart and you can find better shapewear, without the scam and damage to your checkbook. You can try them on, get the right size, and you can take them back without penalty if they aren’t quite right. I can’t believe I was so stupid to fall for this.
Incidentally, the Kymaro website won’t let you post a ‘negative’ review, so don’t believe a word of what’s on their site as being real reviews. It’s all designed to separate you from your money, not provide a quality product or provide true customer service or satisfaction. They’re not about to let anyone know the true nature of how crappy their products are. I think they maybe just write their own reviews and pretend they came from happy customers.
I would recomment EVERYONE to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau who has had a bad experience here. It’s the only way to affect this kind of sleazy sales tactics and put losers like this out of business.
February 19th, 2009 at 5:25 am
Warning - if you are short-waisted or petite, the top will NOT fit properly. The bottom part of the top is supposed to hit at the top for the hip but for short-waisted people like me, it hits just across the crotch. This means the panel that is suppose to go across the abdomen (at the bottom of the chest under the breast) is instead going across the belly and is actually forcing the rolls from the abdomen up and out. I have more rolls now than I did without it. Oh well, live and learn.

DO NOT trust this product. This company should be reported to the BBB. They are just trying to get your money, I bet it takes twenty bucks or less to make this rip off product. Not worth buying, not even worth getting as a GIFT.

Don’t listen to the good reviews, the produt sellers are just trying to protect their cash cow.

I always go online and read reviews of any infomercial products I’m interested in.
When I watched this one, the 1st thing I wanted to know was the type of fabric and whether the ladies could sit in it. They only show them standing. I figured it would probably roll off the stomach bulge and depending on the type of fabric, probably wouldn’t have a good fit. It seems to be the type of fabric like the new Just My Size pantyhose. It used to have a real easy fabric with a lot of give, now it has very little stretch and is impossible to pull past my thighs! My suggestion after seeing these: There always seems to be some type of catch or it would be sold commercially in Target or JC Penney, and not from TV or the internet. Always try to find reviews before buying.

I have seen this very commercial and I was looking on eBay at another product simular to it called ‘Full Body Shaper’ I ordered it and got it and it looked so small…like there is no way to even get into it…has anyone bought this one and know about it…I may get a larger size and try it…maybe…it comes in different types for the bottom half…Please anyone knowing about this product let me know!!!! Thanks
February 27th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
I really like the Body Shaper Top; excellent upper back support for me. I do have to put the bottoms on FIRST if I want to slide the top up smoothly.
For times I do not want to wear the bottoms; I still put them on as they allow the top to slide up easier. Then I just take off the bottoms after getting the top on.
I have NO panty lines when I am wearing a pair of pants when I wear the bottome one; bonus is it also does not show my shirt line that I have tucked in.
I do NOT put mine in the dryer and they have kept their shape and size for me.
Seems to be a product the buyer loves or hates; no in between!

I was very interested in this product at first. I’ve been using a different product called Lipo in a Box that I really like a lot! My mom bought it off of QVC a few years ago and recommended it to me. I have outfits I could not wear without my Lipo in a Box. But, it’s an expensive product. The only thing the infomercial is correct about is that it is a $200 value. Lipo in a Box is about $40 per piece depending on what you buy. You can buy a full body piece so you don’t have issues with rolling, but my favorite piece is just the main body piece that has thighs, butt and stomach. That is a great product. So if you want to buy something similar to this that, in my opinion, works pretty good, and won’t scam you at all, then this is a good one to look into. I just wish it was cheaper!

I ordered this product on Feb. 20 and received it on Feb. 27. I was so surprised to receive it so soon, especially when the operator told me that I will receive it in 2 to 3 weeks. I think they just tell you that just so you can upgrade to express delivery. I also wanted the free bottoms and free black top, but she told me that it would be $9 delivery cost for each item. I was like “NO THANKS!” All I was really looking for was the nude top any way.
I read these reviews a day after I ordered the Kymaro and I was so dissapointed. But I was going to wait until the package arrived to try if for myself. When I received the Kymaro body shaper in the mail, I took it out of the box and decided to try it on right away (preparing for major dissapointment). But when I put it on I was surprised to see that my love handles (which are a major problem for me because I just had a baby 2 months ago) were completely gone! My belly still looked a little pudgy, but my love handles in the sides and lower back were gone and my belly didn’t jiggle! I was sooooo happy. You see I’m only 5ft 0in and weight 125 lbs, but it seems like most of that weight is in my stomach. Two weeks before I saw the kymaro infomercial I was crying because I went shopping for some new clothes and my belly looked so horrible, saggy, and huge in all of the shirts I tried on. I ended up buying pregnancy looking shirts that hid my belly, but you could still see the huge belly through those shirts as well. I was really depressed because I’m a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and could no longer wear a t-shirt w/o looking like a freak (I say freak because I’m slim every where except for the humongous muffin top that I have). Anyway, I tried the body shaper with my tight t-shirts and I look great! Almost as good as before I had the my baby. I wasn’t expecting for this body shaper to work miracles (and it didn’t) but I was hoping that it wold help some (and it has).
Negatives:
-What I do notice is that after 7 hours of wearing it, you start feeling compressed and tight.
-My boobs were not lifted at all like in the ads.
-You can’t wear shirts that show off your back because the body shaper covers your back (great support on my back, by the way).
-If you order it through the phone, the operator will try to sell you a couple of deals that are “free” but if you don’t cancel they will charge you after a month passes.
So my final opinion is that the body shaper is not bad at all. I mean you get what you pay for–$49 (for top and shipping) to have your belly smoothed out just enough is a blessing (at least to me). You can’t expect $49 to work miracles or to compare to plastic surgery (like the informercial claims). And to believe that it would completely flatten your belly (especially if your belly is big)is a bit gullable.
So if I had to give the Kymaro Body Shaper a grade, I would give it a B-.
March 7th, 2009 at 1:40 am
I ordered this over a year ago. I wear mine all the time. I really don’t wear the bottoms that much but girls, I don’t unerstand what everyone is complaining about other than the price and how even I felt mislead and I did return the others and kept just the two. I felt it was a rip that I had to return the beinge top and kept the black one. Well anyway I put mine on from the bottom up and never have a problem. I have lost 100 pounds so far from Lap Band surgery and this top really shows it too. I am from a size 22-24 to a size 10-12 I perfer the size 12 in my clothing. But I really love my Kymaro top.
March 7th, 2009 at 7:28 am
I JUST GOT THE kymaro today well i know its not as good as it is advertised but im satisfied on how it sucks up all my fat. Though there is one part i dislike and that is that i still have a bit of back fat if some people know what i mean. THE odd part of receiving it was that i only ordered the nude package though i ended up getting a black kymaro (meaning i recieved a free one) i checked the bill if i ordered an extra though i guess i got two kymaros at the price of $59.95 pretty good i believe. oh and if anyone wants pics on how it looks i’d offer to give a reference.
March 11th, 2009 at 6:14 am
i love my kymaro bodyshaper!!!! I started out in an extra large but since i started walking everyday i went to a size large and now i bought a medium They fit great and smooth out all my fat bulges on my back. Makes all my shirts look so much better. you can buy them cheaper at carol wright gifts.
March 12th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
Thanks so much! I was a size 22…I now am a size 8! Sound great huh…well it is buttt, the skin isi still there and I thought this might help a bit. I don’t need much…I go to the gym 3 times a week to tone up the muscles but still…I thought this would be a great thing. Thanks for telling the reviews ladies! I am on SS Disability and I would have spent a lot of the $744 a month that I try to live on! God Bless all of you!
March 15th, 2009 at 10:44 am
I’m tempted to try because I’m reading so many different things. Can anyone answer these questions?
1. Do you feel sweaty after a period of time?
2. Do you see it through thin material tops?
3. Is it itchy and uncomfortable?
Thanks!
March 19th, 2009 at 9:43 pm
I bought this product and it only made me look bigger then i do without it.. It makes my belly look swollen like. nothing like the commercial.. and it rolls up alot! and does not get rid of my back roll either like it says it will..
March 19th, 2009 at 9:47 pm
Reply to Mickie -

3. I havent noticed any itching but at times it is uncomfortable.
March 20th, 2009 at 5:13 am
I don’t mind so much ordering a product, finding out that it was worthless when I receive it and returning it. What really irkes me is being charged for a “free” item and paying $19.90 shipping for one 2 lb. package. I spoke with my bank and they said that they have had complaints about this company but that their hands are tied because the charge for the free item is listed as a “processing” fee and not a charge. For a $39.95 item I was charged $79.75 and no recourse except to pay it. The next time I order anything I will Google it first. Buyer beward and let’s hope that those people get what they deserve.
March 20th, 2009 at 5:18 am
Response to Mickie.
Do NOT buy the thing! It is a piece of junk and it’ll cost you a fortune. You can have mine if you want it. Can’t you tell by the number of emails that this thing is worthless and a ripoff? The company doesn’t make it’s money on the product, they make their money on excessive shipping and product wording that is legal but dishonest and deceptive.
March 22nd, 2009 at 1:46 am
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! It doesn’t work AT ALL. I was a sucker and bought it plus the black colored one and matching pants for “FREE”. HA HA
I paid 79.75 for all 4 garments, returned them all (paid 11.00 shipping back) and received only 39.95 back from them. So basically I was ripped off 50.80!!!!!!!
They are scammers. I wish I would have read these reviews and I will never buy anything off the internet, etc again without reading reviews!
March 22nd, 2009 at 2:31 am
This product is horrible!!!!! The bottom is like a pair of tights and you still have everything out of place. The top is a joke. It takes forever to get it on and it rolls up as you move. It is not worth the money
March 23rd, 2009 at 4:17 am
Ladies,
Anybody who feels misled by Kymaro or UbuyEZ (as I do) needs to take the time to file a complaint with the BBB. Here is their their profile on the BBB website: http://www.la.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=100061410
If we’re legitimately unsatisfied we need to formally complain and not allow companies to engage in bad or poor business practices.
March 23rd, 2009 at 4:26 am
Whew! I have the kymaro window open as I read all 145 reviews here. (I first read the reviews on the kymaro website - all five stars! There were even raving reviews from women who have not received theirs yet) I was very tempted to order but I was wanting a shaper for a strapless dress I have for a wedding. Kymaro would not work. I would love any suggestions for a strapless shaper. I just want to look smooth. If any shaper made you lose weight it would well be worth the $79.95 in processing fees!
March 23rd, 2009 at 3:30 pm
gosh i wish i would head all this before i bought it …. IT REALLY DONT WORK…..DONT BYE IT
March 24th, 2009 at 6:02 am
I purchased this item online from ubuyez.com,after signing up for a user name and password as prompted or you cannot continue the order, I gave my credit card, personal address and personal telephone number, now I can not log in, comes up sorry no username matches.I called the toll free number and they dont handle on line orders ,so the gave me 1-888-596-2761 which is busy all the time.I called back to the toll free 1-800-712-7301 they simply cannot help me .Im not sure if I actually will recieve this item or not.If not tthe BBB has been notified. We need to stop internet ripoff companies, they promise but dont come through
March 24th, 2009 at 7:17 am
I bought 2 size 4 tops and i like them! I am 5′5 and weight approx 200 wear size 18. I was tired of the back fat hanging around my bra and basically the bumpy look in dress clothes. Hard to get on the first time and a little tight. Wore for 2 hours first night, took it slow and wore couple hours each day over weekend. By the 3rd and 4th day, I think it is pretty comfortable. I have found that if I wear silky underwear, top will roll - but cotton underwear keeps it in mostly in place. I am not a size 2 but never expected to be, just wanted the bulges under my bra gone and smoother look in my dress clothes. That is what I got! The longer I wear, the more I like. Funny thing - i eat less when I have it on which is not a bad thing!!
March 25th, 2009 at 2:24 am
YOU GIRLS SHOULD STOP LOOKING AROUND FOR WICH ONE IS THE BEST SHAPER!!! I’ve already found it and the name is Vedette!!! is really the greatest body shaper I’ve ever had, this is my personal advise I visited this website: www.bellabellaboutique.com and since I tried this garment for the first time I’ve noticed the difference between all of those shapers out there in the market, is way better than SPANX!! I think this must be like a new brand but I’m very impress with their products, hope to see more products from them soon!!!!
March 27th, 2009 at 5:25 am
I was lucky enough to get a good fit, I’m a size 16 and got size 4 bottom and size 3 top. This is amazing. I’m surprised its so comfortable. It really helps my posture ( I am unable to wear corsets because of spinal curvature, but have long wanted something supportive), it flattens the spare tires. I am now able to wear form fitting shirts without showing a muffin top.
March 28th, 2009 at 3:59 pm
OMGosh…..I should of read these comments before I ordered as well. I don’t like to do infomercials because I have run into this problem once before but darn it just sounded so good. Well shame on me once again! Great for you very FEW ladies out there that it actually worked for but I gotta tell you I was extremely disappointed with this product!!! It did absolutely NADA for me I was the same as before I put it on and it is very uncomfortable and YES IT DOES ROLL UP at the bottom…just an awful awful product!! No more of these infomercials for me…lesson well learned for me and they just keep suckering all of our money from us…getting rich!!! I say we help them go broke and NEVER order anymore!!!
April 4th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
Marilyn - you said you are 5′ 0″ and 125 lbs. Did you order top and bottom and in what sizesr?
I am 4′9 and 135-140 lbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
April 5th, 2009 at 6:59 am
I purchased the product after seing the “awesome info mercial - fat roll muffin tops disappearing , posture improvement etc. also I purchased it becuase prioce point was cheaper than my old spanx that was falling apart… ( love spanx) - I read all the reivews but wanted to see for myself - most reviews said sizes are vague order one size up so I did.. wish I would have ordered the usaul size becuase I like that snug feeling -
returning would be a night mare becuase a) you don;t get your shipping back & b) you have to pay the shipping and prepaid return if you are returning for a size change - not worth it…
I like the top don’t get me wrong it does help with posture I’ll give it that and it does smooth out your torso - however you must wear the matching bottoms or tuck the top into your undies becuase it rolls up.
Do I look slimmer - yes and no - I look more smoothed out actually I feel more smootheed out - I think my hips actually look larger now!
Don’t waste your money - stick with what you like in my case spanx brand -

It’s so upsetting to see so many women scammed out of their hard earned money. I have a product that i gaurantee will work, no rolling, and it helps to reshape you. I’m not on here to sell persay, but if yo ladies are buying products I at least wanted to twll you about one that works.

I have worn the tope 4 times, and I liked the way it felt: until it stretched out of shape . I needed it for the bra section more than the gut. And that is where it fell short. The sides are no longer able to hold my breasts like I found it to do at first. Plus, leave off the bottoms. They will break every nail on both hands trying to pull up, and will leave you with very uncomfortable rolls. The girl on the ad is probably a size 4 or 6, so she gets into both pieces very easily. No so for those of us in 14 or 16s. There is a top at Wal-Mart that does 100% better and for 15 dollars.

Ok so i am a size 16, 5′9 230 lbs after i bought the kymaro (yes got caught up in a late night infomercial) i found all of these reviews. I thought oh crap what did i just do…but here are my opinions as i just got it in the mail today
1. Yes they do use the tape measurer to thier advantage, i am certaintly not 4 inches smaller
2. I think if you guys are having problems with it fitting it’s because you have the wrong size, as it was easy to get on
3. The only thing i do notice is that i don’t have the muffin top anymore. I wasn’t expecting to look 20-30 lbs thinner but my main problem is that most jeans today are made “low cut” and i’m bigger in the middle so “low cut” jeans that fit around the waist and aren’t saggy on my butt leave my big ol tummy hangin out there. So in that aspect yes i am satisfied as i don’t have the muffin top anymore
4. I bought both the pant and the top. The pant is typical….rolls at the top, creating it’s own new bulge in the back (as i can’t reach to pull it up in the back) i guess if you had someone help you pull it up in the back it would be ok but that’s not really realistic. So really that’s my only complaint
5. I put the bottoms on then the top (steppin into it as the directions say) like i said i guess I bought the right size (i would suggest going to get measured as most women wear the wrong bra size so knowing your true measurements might help) and it was really easy to get on, gets rid of the muffin top, a little hard to breathe/bend over/manuvere until you get used to it (as i said this is my first time wearing it) but overall it’s an ok product. I wouldn’t suggest getting the bottoms because they are pretty much a waste but the top is long enough to handle the midsection ( i suggest tucking it into your pants…i have a LONG torso but don’t worry it’s very long)
As far as if there is anything better or more worth our money? Probably a gym membership and little let going of “the miracle” pill/under garments/etc. cause let’s face it…ain’t gonna happen lol. But in the meantime i guess this product isn’t that bad
April 9th, 2009 at 8:36 pm
This is SUCH a ripoff! Bleckkkk! I suggest everyone go to Maidenform.com and look at THEIR shapers! Ultimate Instant Slimmer, “Torsette” is pretty bad ass, if I do say so myself. It’s like the crapmaro, but worth the 33$ AND it fits, AND does everything the crapmaro doesn’t but says it does. I’m not a big girl, I’m 4′9 and 111lbs, but I do have a tummy on me, and this thing I paid 65 dollars for was made of suck and fail. It made me feel terrible, was scratchy and shipping took for.ev.errrr. Maidenform.com FTWWWW!!

i finally ordered the bodyshaper i have been drooling over on the commercials for some time now i spent 80.00 and while the top does do what it is suppose to do it is HOT sweat rolling down my back and stomach cant wait to get it off and the shorts are terrible they roll down to your bikini line by the time you leave the bathroom and get to the livingroom and the return policy is so bad your better off just throwing it in back of closet and being out 80 bucks. i am also disappointed in the buxton bag no way can you get the items they show into that bag i cant even but my normal things into it that i had in a much smaller purse. oh and the smooth away hair remover for your body hair you might as well go to the hardware store and buy sandpaper because that is all it is. i think ive learned my lesson in the last few months dont believe anything on tv it dont work
April 10th, 2009 at 9:38 am
I have to post a comment here. I don’t work for the company and was freaking out after I ordered the body shaper. I also got sucked in to the infomercial in a week moment - I usually don’t fall for those things and I did this time. AFTER I placed my order - I found these comments and was bummed. Figured I had wasted 50$. I was going to call and see if I could cancel but saw someone elses comments that they tried that and failed. So - thought I am a sucker and will wait and see what happens when it gets here. I am very pleased with this. Like Amber said - it did not make me look like I lost 20 lbs. but it definately smoothed everything out and got rid of the rolls which is all I was expecting. I think the key is ordering the correct size. I am 5′4″ and weigh 150 lbs. I had trouble figuring out what size because my bra size is weird - 34 DDD. So I went with a size 3. It was very easy to get on - I love it because it does not create back rolls at the top like some other under garments do. I did not order the pants. I am still waiting to see if it is going to roll up like some other people commented about. The top goes down very far so also controls the low tummy flab. I put my underware over that hoping to keep it from rolling up. I think this is going to work great - you can wear you own bra too. Again - I think the key to it is ordering the correct size.

Go to Nordstrom and buy Spanks instead. Way better product, and you can take it back no problem if you don’t like it.
April 17th, 2009 at 6:55 am
Well, I WAS going to order and something told me to read this. Glad I did. Off to spanex for me! LOL
April 17th, 2009 at 9:02 am
I jiust had my first experience with this product today. I did struggle a little to put on my new Kymaro top however once I got it on and adjusted it up a bit, what a difference it made. I tried it on in the bathroom of my office and all of my female co-workers waited for me to come out of the bathroom. When I came out no one could believe the TRANSFORMATION! I’ve lost 60 pounds nd I have about 40 to go. I am finally fitting into a pair of jeans from The Gap, a dream come true for me, but the top of my stomach hangs over the top. With the Kymaro my belly is completely behind the top of my pants. It’s not quite perfect when I sit, but if I’m standing there’s no muffin top over my jeans!
It supports my back. I felt more comfortable walking to lunch with my office mates. On the way back one of the secretaries noticed that men were turning their heads as I walked by. She said, “Oh my God they’re totally checking you out!” It’s true, they were. She’s ordering hers tonight.
Now that it’s five o’clock and I’ve been wearing this all day I feel ready to take it off. It’s a little tight on my shoulder but no more than a bra might be. I had to sprint down the block earlier and my stomach did not jiggle and my breasts did not hurt my back. This extra support is going to be great for working out. I always want to work out harder but it’s difficult with the skin and extra weight that I have. This will definitely help me get more from my work out since I can now jump up and down without my stomach moving out of control.
It reminds me a little of medical compression garments that injured or diabetic people wear. I am battling obesity and winning. This product is helpful. It’s difficult to get used to, you do have to use some strength to stretch it but it will go on, it will compress your middle and you will see a noticeable difference in clothes that fit, but fit tightly. It’s not going to make you thin, but it does make you feel better to hug.
Good luck with it, I hope you order the right size, I do have another friend that bought one that was too big for her and she had to return it.
April 18th, 2009 at 9:59 am
The only reason all of you had problems with the body shper is because you all got the wrong sizes and were to fat for them. lets not take out your anger on your gurdle because you couldn’t get your ass into it. you needed bigger sizes.
April 19th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
The product probably works great for people under 180 pounds, who don’t have broad hips with a smaller waist and large chest… but some of us are built with the proverbial hourglass figure, and when a product says “won’t roll!” we already know they are full of something. It’s not really their ‘fault’. It won’t roll, on the models they use to demonstrate the product. Nowhere in the infomercial did I see anyone over 130 pounds -putting on the product-.
I’m 240 pounds (thyroid issues since 16), and no girdle or other shaper has ever been comfortable. my underbust is 43 inches, my waist is 38 and my hips are about 45. There’s NO way a top won’t roll, but I had hope. It rolls. There are just certain physics that CANNOT be defied by fabric.
If not for my natural shape (which isn’t friendly to ’shapers’ even when I’m around 155 - I long for those days), this product probably would have worked at least marginally well. As it is, it simply doesn’t do me any good.
April 20th, 2009 at 1:07 am
Ladies, if you are charged a ridiculous amount on your credit card, just simply call your card issuer and do a DISPUTE. Just say you Do Not Authorize the trasaction, and most banks have $0 Liability, which means they should refund your m oney and protect you and pursue the merchant (in this case Kymaro).
If Kymaro does not respond to the bank within 2 weeks, your money is now yours. Investigation is complete. You get your money back plus a free product. Most likely this kind of company is a bogus company with no real employees, so no one will bother to look through the mails to reply to the bank’s investigation. Good Luck.
April 21st, 2009 at 2:58 am
I just received my horrible body shaper from Kymaro (UBuyEZ.com). What an atrocity! I ordered the top and the bottoms in nude and black colors. They charge you for the top at $39.95 and I was charged $39.80 for the shipping and HANDLING. (It came in a little box that could not have been more than $9 to send.) Only the top for $39.95 is returnable, the rest was “Free” when you pay for the ship/HANDL fees. This is an AMORAL way of doing business. I am going to call the BBB and report them and also try to protest my charge. This is a scam and we should not put up with it. I am a size 16. The bottoms were made of thin materail and I received little support of my thighs. (The bottoms I buy at Kohls are far superior.) I could not get the top on because it would not go past my knees! I tried to put it on over my head and the cut does not allow that to happen easily.
April 24th, 2009 at 1:05 pm
Thanks so for the warning. I’ve almost bought this item twice and had forgotten about this review. Thanks again. And yes, we can work of those bulges in less time than we earn the cost of this product!
April 24th, 2009 at 3:04 pm
Ok, I too ordered and got stuck with the cost ! Will know better next time…But I will have to say I do like the product. I am a large woman and I was asked my weight when I called. Not my size ..I will admit that it sure doesn’t take me down two sizes, but they do take the bulges and smooth them out. If you wear the top part UNDER the bottom it will keep it from rolling up. Just make sure you keep it smooth down to your hips as you put on the bottom part. I will also have to say it helps my back feel so much better when wearing it. Inches lost, no, not enough to notice, and easier to put on after the first wash. Make sure too that you don’t buy it to use with an evening gown or anything strapless as the straps are wide. Just like putting on a tank top under your blouse/dress only the front part cut out…It is lightweight and the pants don’t cut off your circulation if you get the right size. If I would have known about Ebay selling them I would have gone there because you do get taken on the ” postage “
April 27th, 2009 at 9:24 am
I bought the shaper about 2 months ago, and I have to say I am very satisfied with it, when I wear it, it does make me feel with a better posture, and it does keeps my love handles in place, it is a bit long, and yes sometimes it slides up specially when I wear underwar made out of polyester but no problems with cotton underwear, it stays in place. I am able to put it on from the top like a blouse, and when I need to go to the restroom I do not have to get totally undressed, or struggle to close back the snap buttons at the crotch, I am totally satisfied with the product, maybe the people that bought it and are not happy with it did not gave the right info when asked, when you call in to order the product, they ask you for your weight, and your bra size, if you are not honest enough to give the right info, and then you are ripping off yourself and nobody else is taking advantage of you, I got a size 6, so that tell you I am very big and very comfortable with it, I wear it everyday, and i have no problems with the black shaper either i washed it before wearing it for the first time, and i wash it by hand everytime.
April 28th, 2009 at 1:46 am
I bought the shaper and am not sure if the size 3 is correct. I weigh 152 and my height is 5′3″. My measurements are different, as I have had abdominal surguries (fibroid removed, hernia repair), 3 children (twins and a c-sect), thyroid issues and scoliosis. My measurements are 35/36, 36, 42. So I really would love this shaper to work. I need some back support. It does roll up some and is somewhat difficult to get on, feels tight. Not all the rolls are smoothed. Is that the way it is suppose to be? On the infomercial it seems like it is easy to put the shaper on? I just don’t know if I need to go with a larger shaper. Any thoughts would be helpful - as I need a shaper. Thank you!
April 28th, 2009 at 12:50 pm
Thanks for teh reviews. I was seriously thinking of buying this product for a “quick fix” while I’m trying to get back in shape. I’m glad I wasn’t quick to buy it like always. I am a sucker for the infomericials
May 5th, 2009 at 4:40 pm
when i ordered mine, i was really upset about the shipping fees so i called and complained dozens of times. i was so angry that they were charging processing AND shipping. finally a manager called me back and gave me a free shipping code, so i thought i would come share it with you! if you order online, you just enter it in before you give your credit card information. the code is: SHIPW59NBS go use it for free shipping!
May 8th, 2009 at 10:57 am
I ordered this about a month ago and read the bad reviews and was scared.
However, I have to say that I have had absolutely NO problems with this product, the top fits well and smooths and shapes, my clothes fit better, my back feels better and the top works well with the SPANX I already own. I was not too thrilled with the bottom shaper because it had the quality of control top pantyhose and I found it worked better with my SPANX. I was not happy about the shipping charges which were ridiculous however, all in all, this is a great product and to those who complain it is too tight… DON’T lie when you order your size. Be honest. No wonder you had problems.
May 14th, 2009 at 9:59 am
Do not buy thru here love the top can get the same thing at JC Penny for less this company is a rip off.
May 14th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
I just sent for the kymaros new body shaper i am waiting for it to arrive …….i hope that it fits . i bought it as more of a self esteem lifter .. i will keep you poseted .
May 20th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
I was warned about the Kymaroas body shaper and I am glad that I was. My friend gave me a link to a great new body shaper called “Body Magic”….it really works like magic. I went from a 16 to a 12 after I put this garment on. I had an old size 12 dress that I couldn’t fit and after putting on Body Magic I slid right into it. Works well!!
Her website is www.redefineuwithmagic.com. I hope this helps everyone.
May 24th, 2009 at 6:04 am
I ordered my top and bottom off of ebay also, AFTER talking to the kymaro people on the phone and asking how much was shipping and actually told them they were CRAZY and hung up!!! I ordered the top and love it and wear it everyday but the bottoms I cannot even get on over one thigh so I just resold them on ebay.
May 28th, 2009 at 11:26 am
This is the best advise to all of you girls: go to this website: www.vedettestore.com and buy any of these garments so far I think they are the best quality garments I’d ever seen in the market. I’ve had mine for 2 years already and it’s still new plus the gave me an additional garment for buying one only. Dr. kymaro? Spanx? I’ve tried them all already even that brand called body wrap and to tell you the truth I felt great when I tried them first but after a month I felt it was a waist of money. I just realized that the reason why these garments got broken and out of shape so easily is because they are only made of spandex… anyway this is only an advise try one of those Vedette garments and you will all see what I’m talking about!
May 29th, 2009 at 4:00 pm
I received my garment today and although it was a bit tough to get up from the bottom the results were incredible when I looked in the mirror. It did everything it promised and more–Usually I never write reviews but after seeing all the negative comments here, I think it is important for people to know that it does what it claims to do…..Took away the lumps and I look much thinner!!!
What a pleasant surprise!!
May 30th, 2009 at 5:40 pm
I too bought the shaper what a terrible product. I then bought Slim and Lift and what a great product. so shop around ladies there are good companies and products out there.
May 31st, 2009 at 6:48 am
Many stores have body shaperwear. I buy mine from Sears. It is expensive, I think I paid around $35 for a one piece, so if this product works the price with shipping isn’t that bad. Go try on some of the brands at the stores so that you can get a sense of size. If you want it to wear often, then DEFINITELY get bigger sizes, it will still make everything fit much nicer. I mostly wear size 18/20 and I have found I am not comfortable in anything below a 2x, so that is what I always buy. The ones I bought at Sears have built in cups, however they are the kind that cut across the breast at an angle, causing pudging or worse, breast slipping out of the cup. You can find yourself tucking yourself in repeatedly. The solution to this is to wear a good full coverage bra beneath the slimmer. It sounds like a lot of layers, but honestly it feels fine and the final look is so much better. I have big thighs so the mid thigh type never work for me, they roll up or cut in so much that they are EXTREMELY obvious under my clothes. I have recently tried a pair of the longer style that go to the knees, that works much better but I haven’t tried them enough times yet to really say how much I like them. Good luck!
June 17th, 2009 at 2:40 pm
Many many thanks to all of you who wrote and advised about not buying it. Same story as most, watching late night tv, have a reunion coming up and thought that this might help. Glad that I know not to waste my money.
June 21st, 2009 at 8:22 am
I am so… sorry I did not read the reviews about this bodyshaper before buying it.This is a total scam and a big waste of hard earn money.I called the company number and never received any response.Ladies don’t waste your money on this trash!
June 21st, 2009 at 2:59 pm
I have not bought this product and have no intentions on doing so. I am watching the infomericial right now and they clearly say that this item will not bunch up and is soft and comfortable. I have been taken in before by “as seen on TV” products. The shoes under bed is a total scam as well. Do not buy this one either. I don’t understand how a company can blatantly lie on national TV like that. The shoes company is extremely lucky I am too lazy to go thru with a class action lawsuit. There needs to be something done about infomercials!! They can’t get away with crap like that.
June 21st, 2009 at 3:06 pm
Seems to be more negative reviews than positive. I am confused at how it can work for some people and not others. There are a lot of body shapers out there besides this one. It’s always best to try it on in the store.
June 22nd, 2009 at 12:46 am
Something that might prove helpful. Copied from UBUYEZ.
“What if my body shaper doesn’t fit?
We offer a complimentary exchange on all products. Simply mail the ill-fitting garments back to us and we will exchange them and pay the shipping cost back to you. You will have all the directions along with our customer service telephone number in your package. Our customer service is available to assist you with any questions you may have at that time.”
“What if I want to return my body shaper?
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee, less shipping, handling, and processing fees. You must return your product with your packing list within 30 days in order to get your refund.”

I saw the infomercial a few weeks ago and decided I was going to look online to do some more research. I saw some great reviews and then I saw some really nasty ones. I contacted customer service and let them know that they were about to lose a potential customer because of the negative reviews. They transferred me to the customer service manager and she gave me a discount code that I could use if I ordered the shaper online that would give me free shipping. She said it was an ‘exclusive deal’ and that she didn’t want me to get false pretenses about the shaper and encouraged me to try it. I bought the nude top ONLY because I was only going to test it out. I got free shipping and it only cost me $39.95 TOTAL…got it in a few days and I’m rather impressed with it. I’m not sure about the shorts, but I really do like the top and I’m glad I had the chance to try it out. I don’t know if the discount code will work again, but feel free to try it. The code the manager gave me is “NBSShippingW6″, you just have to enter it in at checkout and it takes the shipping cost off. Hope it works for you ladies!
June 28th, 2009 at 7:10 am
I LOVE this product! I went to all the review sites and was scared, but decided to make my own judgment. I’m glad I did. I did not go in with the idea that it was going to make me 20 pounds lighter. I had lapband surgery last year and lost 130 pounds and I have a LOT of loose skin. It completely removes the skin “bumps” and the bonus is that it makes me stand up straight which is good for somebody like myself that is slump-shouldered. So, make your own judgment but do not expect that you are a size 20 and it’s going to make you look like a 10. The only thing that is going to do that is diet and exercise! But, if you want to get rid of the “bumps” it is JUST the thing!! I think I’m going to have to buy another one though for a backup.
July 1st, 2009 at 9:48 am
OMG I am soooo happy I came across these comments! I was just about to order this and when I talked to customer service I was a little weary when they told me 59.99 and 79.99!! I thought the whole thing would be 39.99!! Anyway… I am so greatful to you girls who post these comments, you saved me money I really don’t have… good luck to all!
July 7th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
It really makes me happy reading denise’s comment. Im glad we can help someone. I know there is a lot of negative press about our product…but. Let’e be realistic. It will make you appear slimmer and you will look better. We recommend that people buy the next size up as its a very tight fitting product… It has to be or it would now work… Id be glad to hear any feedback and shall deal with any complaints personally.
For all those who are paying over the odds such as vicky - please stop!
July 8th, 2009 at 9:28 pm
I know this is a dumb question, but can someone please tell me how do you take the body shaper off? Had a terrible time getting it on! Do you take it off by removing arms first and and removing over hips or do you remove over the head? HELP!!!!
July 9th, 2009 at 8:31 pm
I just got my kymaro and it works! My biggest problem is the lower stomach bulge… BAD! I seriously always look pregnant. Neway of course I still have it but its smaller:)
July 16th, 2009 at 10:58 am
I bought full nude and black set. Spent around $80.00 I work in an office and wear the top every day I work. I wear the bottoms once in awhile. I bought mine after my second baby and just needed some help getting everything tucked in a little. It has been 8 months and like I said I wear it every day to work. I LOVE it. I am looking at purchasing another one just in a smaller one cuz I have been working on the diet and working out. I don’t think I would go to work without it. I would feel naked and exposed. It keeps thinks in line.

NOTE HOW ON THE INFERMERCIAL THE BODY SHAPER IS MOSTLY ADVERTISED ON THE SKINNY GIRLS
July 25th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
well first of all i bet all of you are extremely overweight and expect to be a size 2 when you put this on. Let me give you guys an advise ( there is no way!!!) ANY product is going to hide away a very obese persons tootsie roll you need to start exercising your body instead of your jaw …start by eating healthy and small portions ..it saddens me to see how you “guys” yes the fat people bitch about crap like this when you know it is your fault … unless you have a thyroids problem STFU there is no pitty on you people get your ass and exercise. SMF
July 28th, 2009 at 11:58 am
1st I will say I don’t work for the company and I don’t sell on ebay..
Well I saw the infomercial and like everyone I was amazed. But I’m a ebay shopper and I knew to go there even b4 I read the bad comments about the company and the over pricing.. well I found the top on ebay for 20.99… some ppl said the top ran big some said it ran small… I’m not huge… I’m about 5′3 160 pounds 38D.. most my weight is in my hips and thighs but I wanted to get rid of my love handles which showed in some of my clothes…. well b4 I ordered off ebay I looked at the size chart on their website and it said I was a size 4… I was confused about what do becuz I was unsure to get my size, go bigger, or go larger..well I went smaller… I had no difficulties getting it on.. I found that the 3 was a little too big for me.. it had extra fabric rolls.. I think size is key.. it is good support and I will most likey buy again and try a 2.. my waist is relatively small I jus had love handles I wanted to slim..every women is different hope that helped
August 11th, 2009 at 6:44 pm
GINA!! this is for you.
You need to shut your face and get off your high horse biotch! I bet your an ugly ass lil biotch. You and your smelly ass need to STFU.
August 12th, 2009 at 11:57 am
I am so glad that I read this before purchasing. My sister and I are about the same size and height so we were going to share the “free” product. The total was going to be $69.80. What happened to the $39.95?!?! I would rather spend my money on a real spanx. Thank you for giving me a heads up.
August 13th, 2009 at 11:44 am
I don’t know what you guys are talking about I love the kymaro body shaper i lost 56 pounds but what i need to tell you is more important than how much weight I lost whan you order the Kymaro body shaper you gotta buy 3 sizes higher trust me i’m mom with 4 kids and I used to weigh 160 pounds and I know weigh 104 pounds so thats my story and if I were you I would give the kymaro body shaper another chance but remeber get 3 sizes higher than what you would originally
August 13th, 2009 at 6:31 pm
I wish I would have known about these comments before I bought the product. The free black shaper & top didn’t feel or fit like the beige, which means they’re not of the same quality. The black bottoms were coming a part at the seams & I hadn’t even worn it, and the black top wouldn’t even go over my hips. Because I was passed my 30 days customer service restated their policy. Whatever, happen to good customer service. When I emailed & asked customer service for the CEO’s name and address no one responded. Never again will I buyanything from them again nor will I recommend this product.

I bought this while on vacation and it finally arrived once I returned home. I tried it on - hated it - too tight - too stiff - too uncomfortable. I paid $69.95 - I returned everything. I just checked with my bank - they credited me for $29.95. I have emailed them, but I don’t expect to find any satisfaction. Basically, TV ads and infomercials can be a ripoff - and I should have known better. I think it probably fits you size 3-10 girls just fine, but for those of who are heavier and who still want to breathe in our clothing, Kymaro is not for us!

I ordered this because I just had a baby and although I still fit into all my clothes I have a little belly bulge. I ordered the ‘free” pieces for an extra $30 (ridiculous), when I received it I couldnt get the top over my big butt and thighs. After struggling with it a while I finally got it up, put on the bottoms, and slipped on a dress I hadnt worn in a while. I looked like a stuffed sausage! I am not really big Im about a size 6. The elastic at the top of the shorts made an indention around my waist that could be seen through clothes, and the top pushed my belly fat up under my boobs. My husband said I looked like I had just eaten a big meal. Also the top made a crease in the middle that could be seen through clothes. I havent worn the bottoms but I do wear the top and it works alright. I fit into all my jeans better , I dont think i could wear a smaller size though, and it does make my stomach flatter. Oh, the top it does roll up, and I dont know what kind of underwear people are wearing to keep it from rolling but even tucked into my jeans it rolls up. Anther thing I dont like is that I cant wear it with spaggetti shirts and that the straps can be seen if
i wear a shirt with wide scooped neck. guess it works for some people but I would suggest to try it out and dont expect a miracle because working out and eating right is the best solution.

Kymaro new body shaper is a joke!
they DO roll up, and the fabric is actually kinda harsh and rough on bare skin…and the “lumps and bumps” got worse when i wore this, it didnt work for me at all, and was very uncomfortable, and the bottom shapers are just as bad, waiste of money people!
September 17th, 2009 at 1:34 pm
This forum was really helpful and I ordered thru ebay as suggested and it was so much cheaper! Everybody had good and bad to say. I had to try it for myself. The top would/can roll up BUT if you read what some say, if you put the bottom or your underwear over it, it really won’t roll up! Also, you must order the right size for your body. You CANNOT order size 2 if you really should be a size 4. Who’s kidding who? It’s meant to smooth, not eliminate your bulge. I was skeptic but I really did have less of a bulging tire look on the belly with this thing. It didn’t make me bone skinny like I wish it could but I’m less blubbery which makes me feel a little better. So if you expect that this would make you look as thin as the model on the ad, you’ll be disappointed. But if you want just a little help to tuck in a little of that oozing fat, then this might help! I returned the new Spanx I ordered after I tried the Kymaro.

At this point, I’m living on a prayer with this dern body shaper. I ordered it on 8/7/09 (spent about $80 since I got two tops & two bottoms), paid $6.95 for express delivery and STILL have not received it yet. I see where most people are not happy with the product, but I’m hoping for a success story after all the money and time spent!
September 25th, 2009 at 2:39 am
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the bottoms of the legs roll up? This is always my (fat legs!) problem!
Thanks
September 26th, 2009 at 2:06 pm
I bought it too - problem is according to their size charts, I got the Top too big and they won’t take it back - it was over 30 days when I finally got it. The whole thing was delivered to a house down the street and they didn’t give it to me for who know’s how long. The bottoms were hard to get on, but they do smooth panty lines etc. I’m short so it does roll at the waist - I guess the bottoms are too big too, but I can use them. If anyone wants to trade the top, I’m willing - I need size 5 I guess and can give a size 6, beige (never worn) and black (tried on 1 time). I got them so I can look better for my daughters wedding in January.

I just got my body shaper on ebay for $25 plus $3 for shipping. I have to tell you that everyone is build different and I love the way it fits me. I got size 4 and it fits perfect. I have very slim hips, so it was very easy to step right into it and get it on. My weight problem is in my mid section and I have large breasts. The body shaper slimmed and smothed out my mid section and the girls are up where they belong. My size 9 jeans are very lose and I have to wear a belt today to keep them up. I feel taller and slimmer. I can see why women with larger hips may have a problem getting the shaper on and it may roll up, but I have been in it all day and no problems at all. I am comfortable sitting, standing, bending…whatever. I did wash the shaper with lots of fabric softner before wearing it for the first time…the material is pretty stiff. So ladies, if you’re build like me, slim hips, go for it…..you won’t regret it.
October 23rd, 2009 at 3:15 pm
The company is just like any other infomercial company out there…they’re out for the huge shipping costs and email addresses and “special clubs” they want you to join. But the product itself is fabulous.I just suffered a herniated disc last week and was in the hospital for 5 days. I haven’t even been able to walk much since I got out, and the brace they gave me was a joke. I had to go to the store today and needed some support, so I put my shapers on for the first time to see if they would help. Not only do they support my back like crazy, they made me look WAY smaller. I stopped by my parents house and everyone there asked me how the heck I had lost so much weight and was it from throwing up so much in the hospital LOL. No rolls, a nice waist and great posture? I’m ordering MORE! But off of ebay this time LOL, shoulda thought of that in the first place!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:10 am
Nothing but exercise is going to get rid of the fat. But was hoping for some relief. Should have known nothing is free. Valuable lesson learned. Yeah they get you by charging you S&H for each piece even though all come in one box. Struggled into it and saw no visible change and it rolls up. Oh well think I would have learned by now especially when they have little skinny women advertising the product
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:04 pm
If you like being ripped off then order the Kymaro body shaper,if you also like talking to a recording and never a live person then order this product, these people are a bunch of con artist ,and they don’t have any morels, once they get your money you are stuck their needs to be a class action lawsuit against this so called company.I’m reporting them to the BBB as soon as possible, and contacting a consumer advocate who can get this on TV,and out to the people so that eveyone will know this company is a scam ,they hit me in my pocket so now i’m going to hit them in theirs.BUYER BEWARE OF KYMARO!!!

November 3rd, 2009 at 4:18 pm
btw im thinking all the people that are saying good things about this product actually work for the company i wouldnt put it past scamers to do something like that to protect the product and keep us suckerd into buying it
November 4th, 2009 at 7:53 pm
i bought this product 8 months ago and i love it. At first yes it would not even go up my knees but i washed it once and it loosed up. i grew out of mine since i lost weight and i am about to order to size smaller. It takes a bit to get used to it but i swear by it. i bought it on ebay which is much cheaper than the website.
November 18th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
I bought the product — top and bottom off of ebay for a fair price $35…the disappointment is that the product is bogus! I don’t think it would work for most women…I am about 15 lbs. heavier than I like and it really makes my clothes beyond tight! I had hoped that this product would help redistribute these extra pounds to make my clothing fit more flattering. No luck! And I think that if I was 25+ lbs. heavier then I wouldn’t be able to fit into the product at the size from the chart (I was in the middle of the range)…it would be like overstuffing the skin off a hotdog, think rip or pop!!!
Skip this scam and stick with Spanx…they are good shapers without these false promises…and you can definitely get them at a decent price at Nordstrom Rack or other discounters. I’m so disappointed!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 1:59 am
Now, I’m not looking for anything to make me look thinner. If I did, I would look to thin if not anorexic looking. However, I find the support of back braces to be helpful in forcing you to maintain correct and erect posture which can be used off an on if you start to get the habit of slouching. Anyway, has anyone thought of not trying to cover up the body you have. If you want to look thinner it’s very simple and once you get used to a new routine, approximately 3 to 8 weeks depending on the person, it becomes a part of your lifestyle. Simply put, eat less, move more, and workout. No magic. And you can gauge where your at. If you are gaining size, eat less, and workout harder and longer. If you are static, try just eating a bit less. It’s all about the calories you take in versus the calories you burn up. You can be rail thin eating nothing but junk food. Although your overall health will be poor so I’d recommend eating correctly, small meals throughout the day. Then you can feel even better knowing your not covering anything up because your body is where you want it. And aerobics is the most important part of losing body fat, aside from diet. Running is a great way to raise your metabolism and cut fat. If someone really overweight were to get liposuction, their stomach may be smaller but the rest of the body will still be the same and look weird. And everyone can fit in at least 45 minutes a day for cardio. Spot reduction is a flat out myth. When you lose body fat, it will be from everywhere head to toe. As a little league, high school, and collegiate wrestler and all american I know what it takes to cut the fat while losing minimal muscle. Because the body will lose both, but if done correctly, strength reduction will be minimal. My email is jplambert@mail.com And I don’t mind giving advice. At one point I was a fanatic about reading material and getting a nutritionist and strength and conditioning coaching, so that’s just a natural thing for me. And what good is knowledge without sharing it. And it doesn’t require a waist reduction girdle or anything. If you have knee problems or something, swimming is great. Cycling or bike riding is also easier on the body as far as impact goes. But a little work goes a long way. The increase in energy is unrivaled in my opinion. You can just feel great all around.
November 25th, 2009 at 4:44 pm
I just bought this product and i think that it’s great I actually bought it at our Pick N save store I guess because if i didn’t like it, it would be easier to return. it’s not rolling up or anything it fits good makes me look slim and my breast look bigger and my butt is cute. I look slimmer and it feels good to look good. I think the Kymaro is a good product i guess it depends if your getting the real or the fake. some people just post up fake ones and say it’s right… but i think you should just go to the store to buy it . and not waste your time calling or using the internet. Go to your local Pick N Save, Wal-Mart, Or even Wal-Greens and get it there… Kymaro A++

December 6th, 2009 at 8:40 am
This item is now available in a store called Bed, Bath and Beyond for $30.00. It’s only the top part. I’m going to get it and see if it works. If not, I’ll be returning it for sure!
December 8th, 2009 at 10:42 am
I ordered my first set from the infomercial and got one set nude and one black. I was never able to use the bottoms. I could never get them up. I use the tops all the time. At first they are small, but as you wear them and wash them, they get easier to put on. You do have to buy a size bigger then you think.
Since that time, I’ve lost 43 lbs and have gone from an XXl to an XL and still wear them every day. You do have to wear them under your underwear or they do roll up. I love it. I can buy the nude ones at Bed Bath and Beyond and get 20% off with a coupon. My black ones I buy on ebay.
The best thing about them is it cuts you in the shoulders (hurts for awhile) but I’ve worn them for a year and now I stand up straighter.
December 15th, 2009 at 5:48 pm
I tried both the Upper and Lower body shapers. The upper took a lot of work to put on, but once I was able to do it (minus several broken fingernails) I assumed it would really hold everything in as advertised…particularly after the difficulty putting it on. Well, it didn’t. The bottom, being made of a softer material, didn’t work at all!!!.
Needless to say I returned the whole order, consisting of 1 Upper body shaper for the full price of $39.95, plus 1 more upper and two lower body shapers, charged at $9.95 a piece for “processing and handling”. Too expensive if you ask me.
Add shipping and handling (again…I guess for the full priced upper body shaper) and expedite fee in the amount of $16.90, I paid a total of $86.70 dollars!!!
Aside from the product not working as advertised, I experienced the following problems:
1. The items, although I paid for expedite shipping, were not delivered on time for an out-of-town wedding I had ordered them for.
2. After returning the items withing the requested time, I had to make several calls because they claimed it was received at their office after the 30 day trial period, eventhough it was shipped out before the 30 days. After sending the shipment confirmation, they agreed to refund me as it was withing the time aloted.
3. I got a REFUND ONLY FOR THE 1ST FULL PRICE ITEM OF $39.95!!!
Long story short, I’m out $46.75 dollars for nothing…. That’s what I get for not checking the reviews before buying, as I normally do, and falling for their sales pitch. Hope this will be read by others and save them their hard earned dollars.
December 18th, 2009 at 10:41 pm
LOVE IT! I just bought mine. I wasn’t going to get the black, but then they offered it (the top) with no s&h fee, so I got it too for free. I’m 100 pounds overweight, have a longer torso and larger hips. I worried it wouldn’t fit right, but it was easy to get on and very comfortable (top and bottom). My “girls” were back up where they’re supposed to be and the slimmer reshaped me so I was even able to put on old pair of pants a size smaller than I usually wear. Another thing I noticed was my lower back felt great!
HATE IT… the only thing I didn’t like was the salesman. He tried to sell me all kinds of other junk i.e. the Kymaro jeans and other stuff I didn’t want. Then they we’re trying to give me a trip to the Bahamas… ya sure, and who’s paying for the flight there and taxes and other fees? NO thanks. By that time I just wanted to get off the phone because it’s NOT a free phone call even though it was an 800 number.
So I love the Kymaro body slimmer… hate the companies money grubbing sales tactics. I suggest if you want one buy it somewhere else.
December 28th, 2009 at 1:44 pm
Ladies who are NOT satisfied with Kymaro (some of my friends have them and I can’t tell when they are wearing it), try Ardyss International’s Abdowoman shirt (T-shirt light) or the Golden Corset. If you want FULL body control try the Body Magic or the High Waist Girdle. These products work…I am 190 lbs. 5′4″ and I can wear Medium tops and size 12 pants when I am wearing my Ardyss gear…

Anyone want to buy mine from me. I never wore any of them. I have a beige set and a black set. I took the 3XL tops and 2XL pants.
Please somebody help me out. I cannot afford to lose money like this. These are brand new. Only tried on the beige set for a minute or two.

January 15th, 2010 at 8:58 pm
I think the body shaper is fine, and it does the job. I dislike how the back is a bit loose, and can make a few fabric wrinkles, but it isn’t noticeable. I’ve had spanx, which is much stretchier and comfier, but it doesn’t slim as much as the kymaro. They are a bit difficult to get around the hips, but it’s definitely possible. It’s because they aren’t super stretchy, but they can handle getting around my ginormous hips well enough. It’s cheap, so it doesn’t do as good of a job as higher end girdles, etc. But I believe for $40 it’ does a fine job. I also have noticed it rolls up a bit at the bottom, but tucking it into underwear or pants stops it.
January 21st, 2010 at 8:22 pm
So many negative comments! Not surprised as I assume most of you are 5′4″ and 190lbs and expecting it to be a miracle. Anybody around average size–like 5′4″ 125 and can’t drop the baby weight that this product was intended for? how does it work?
January 28th, 2010 at 8:56 am
How can I contact Kymaro or is there a website address specifically for them?
Can some provide a telephone number? I am in the same delimma. Top half is twice my size.
January 31st, 2010 at 9:00 am
Ladies, Ladies, Don’t buy this product. Watch the infomercial carefully as I am doing now. The measuring that happens? Look carefully at the placement of the tape measure. Hell, I can loose 4 inches if I measure my waist first and then move the tape up a little to measure again. Look at the clothing choices the *paid plus size models* are wearing. They are wearing fabrics that hug the body in a very unflattering way in unflattering lighting. The models are slumping forward and wearing unsupportive bras. The *paid skinny models* are wearing the shapers without clothes and don’t have a roll to hide to begin with. It’s just an illusion. If you want to have a similar effect without dieting and exercise go to a trained bra specialist and buy a good bra that cost more than 9.99. As a plus size woman with a 46 H cup I was shocked to see a waist form when I was fitted with a good supportive bra.
If it’s too good to be true it always is.
February 4th, 2010 at 5:23 pm
I’ll tell you where to find an awesome slimmer that actually fits really good. The seller is very helpful…takes your measurements to get the exact size. She has all these different lengths and different sizes. I think she makes them. I can’t say enough good about them. Go to www.skinnycami.biz
WAY BETTER!

I got one of these and I hated it. It didn’t make me look any better either. It fit weird. But the good news is my sister found one at this awesome site called www.skinnycami.biz I can step into the skinnycami and pull it up easily and get my arms into it. It really made my midsection look like I’d just lost 20 lbs. You get that nice layered-look with this. I got a really fast shipment and great communication with the seller. I gave her my exact measurement and it fit great. I highly recommend this instead. Check it out!
February 11th, 2010 at 11:45 am
OMG, you should try the Skinny Cami. Wayyyy better! www.skinnycami.biz Costs less, and she made it to fit my body. Very helpful in getting it right. I promise you’ll LOVE these.
March 2nd, 2010 at 8:57 am
Personally, I really like the Kymaro Body Shaper, NOT the Shape N Slim - THAT is a waste of time & money. I have bought quite a few of them via EBAY, where you can buy just the top if that’s all you want for $24.95 + shipping. They do lose their stretch after awhile, but I wear mine every day and wouldn’t go without them! Especially like the black.
Be sure you WASH it before trying to wear it, because otherwise you will NOT be able to get it it on!
March 9th, 2010 at 7:44 am
I got the Kymaro top at the As Seen on TV section of walgreens.
It is ok, it was hard to get on, at first I thought I was going to need a bigger size, but I kept pulling and got there.
It doesn’t make you go down 4 or 5 inches, but it did make it easier to get into my jeans that were a lil snug, which is nice to not have the roll hang over.
The back doesn’t stay down flat.
It would be ok if it costs 9.99 or at the most 14.99.
Not worth more.
The TV ads always costs more in the end. I ordered nads when it first came out and was very disappointed. Now you can get it in the store for nothing.
I’d give the body shaper a 4 or 5 on a 10 scale.
Overpriced.
And good if you are wearing something that completely covers and is not tight, otherwise you will have obvious line etc.
No 4 inches of loss here…
March 10th, 2010 at 9:44 am
If you get the right size you’re ok, but that’s the tough part. I found a WAY better slimmer at www.skinnycami.biz She gets your height and measurements and makes sure you get the right fit. OMG I love mine. It’s not like you’re wearing an undergarment ’cause some of the cami can show at the top and at the bottom. It sucks me in in all the right places and I get a boob uplift, too.
March 13th, 2010 at 3:18 pm
get over it you fat slobs, i bought it and it fits and works fine. if you are 400 plus lbs it wont work. go on a diet!
March 14th, 2010 at 5:34 am
hi everyone, I was thinking of buying this garment but due to the reviews have changed my mind.
I am very happy with the shapewear that I currently use, which is called SPANX; however, I thought that the Kimaro or whatever would come out cheaper.Apparently I should just stick to spanx even though it puts a little dent in your pocket. Its much more comfortable than the girdles you find at Kmart or Walmart, those ones just kill me and the material is cheap polyester.
Those add ons are always scams, they say you get two products for the price of one, or get additional items free and yet the price of postage that they tack on costs much much more than it should for a few extra ounces.
March 15th, 2010 at 1:00 pm
After reading all these, I think I’ll just stick with Spanx. Thanks ladies!
March 15th, 2010 at 2:13 pm
I love the body shapers! I have two sets of nude and one set of black. No it won’t work if you weigh 250 lbs but I am not skinny and it makes a huge difference in the way my clothes fit. I am sold!
March 18th, 2010 at 7:36 pm
I absolutely love the body shaper! I have the black and the nude. I purchased my nude set at a Walgreens this past weekend. The first time was a little difficult trying to pull the top over my hips. I said forget this too but kept thinking about the ad on TV that I have watched numerous times. If the woman on TV who is bigger than me managed to pull the top up, I knew I could too! I tried again and had no problem. I am in love with it now! My back feels better. I told my sister-in-law what I had purchased and she ordered herself a set. She was totally shocked and calls the set her miracle worker! Now, I want a top without the straps to wear under my swimsuit. I have no complaints and find the set amazing. I can’t stand Spank, uncomfortable and no support for my back.
March 19th, 2010 at 2:17 pm
I’ve tried every shaper out there, I think. The one I love best is at www.skinnycami.biz. I ordered on March 13th and I received the package on March 17th, and I really love this cami! I’m tall with big boobs and narrow hips, and it fits my body perfectly (She asked for my measurements, and I think she makes them custom). It’s not like underwear…more like a camisole…really awesome customer service.
March 21st, 2010 at 9:10 pm
yes it does work and wal-mart sells it for $30.
March 22nd, 2010 at 8:20 am
I bought the body shaper on Ebay for reasonable price w/shipping (compared to infomercial). The items were shipped really fast. I find the top comfortable and definitely helps with the back buldges and smoothing things out. Bottom fit well also, but top is main reason I bought it. I didn’t lose 1-22 sizes. but I still love the smoothed out look. I plan to buy a couple more tops, but only on Ebay.
March 26th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
I ordered from Ebay - $13.50 for the top, $7.50 for the bottoms. The top was huge, even though I ordered according to the chart and was at the very top end of the range it gave, I have sent it back for a replacement but I now have no idea which size to order. I have suggested the next size down but this may still be too large depending on how the sizes differ. Hopefully not just a huge waste of time but I’m prepared to give it another go. Would be furious if I’d paid full price!!
March 26th, 2010 at 6:24 pm
PS Meant to add, for those of you finding it tight, I received an instruction leaflet with mine instructing me to wash it first as the production of the garment makes it tight otherwise. I didn’t wash it and it was too big but this might work for you. Don’t know where you would stand on a return though.

Will u stop with this skinnycami advertising? Most ppl on here are looking for a good advice and real review rather than having someone who could careless about us and just want to make money. You can post under as many different names as you want but you are just as bad as those ppl @ kymaro.

I just purchased this product about an hour ago. Luckily, I waited until it came out in stores. I bought a size bigger than what I would normally wear and I couldn’t even get it up to my knees, so I tried to pull it over my head– YEAH RIGHT! This product is a joke, not to mention the fabric is horrible. Go to the mall and pick up a pair of SPANX they actually work and are much more comfortable.

Okay, I’ve spent all afternoon reading these comments with my Kymaro gurdle on. Today is my first time wearing it. I am still sitting with my laptop in my lap and I must say that it was difficult trying to pull the top pass my tights but I put on the short on then I was able to pull the top all the way up. It is really comfortable although I am thinking about washing it tonight to make it feel even softer. My advise is that after pulling your top all the way up, place it directly in contact with your skin, under your underwear and under the shorts. That way it will never ride up. I am 5′5 and 150 pounds, 34A So I ordered the top size 2and the bottom size 3 as my hips and tights are wide.
I got 2 tops, 2 camis with clear straps and 2 shorts. I am very happy with my purchase. The extra tops and shorts I bought a size smaller for future wear as I am in a diet and exercise program and in the way to lose weight.
Good luck everyone.

I ordered the Kymaro Body Shaper the first part of March. I couldn’t begin to
get it on as it was totally inflexible. I immediately sent it back on March 8th.
I received a letter telling me that they couldn’t refund my payment because
I had failed to sign the return form. I sent my signature back and haven’t heard
from them since. I’ve tried everyday calling their customer service number and
have yet to talk with a real person. I am instructed to put my concerns on
their wed-site. Good luck with that. Their isn’t a place for a customer to
comment on their concerns. I have now contacted the Minnesota Attorney
General, Lori Swanson’s office. I copied the complain form and will be fillilng
it out immediately. This outfit should be shut down. The person who took my
order was less than polite. The whole affair has left me with a bitter taste in
my mouth. I have sworn off ordering anything again. If I can’t find it in the
stores, I’ll do without it. I hate being cheated and this company has a bad
reputation. If you order from them don’t have high expectations.

BB&B has a whole section filled with the stuff you see on infomercials. I bought one there, boy is it tight - the top is okay, rolls a little bit from the bottom but the big thing is how hot it is. I would never wear it in the summer. It was $29.99 and I used a coupon so it was even less - I will probably return it.

I have not used the product before I used others. Body slimmer is a great instant way to curb your fluctuating weight problem. In I am quite happy using one maybe because I am the lazy and impatient type.

You know, they sell “as seen on tv” items at walgreens. So you don’t have to be wasting money through the tv.

I have just recently purchased this body shaper at Bed Bath and Beyond. It was 39.95 and of course no shipping. I really like it it definately smooths and flattens for me. I had a very large baby boy (10 lbs.10oz.) a few months ago and my stomach muscles were stretched terribly; the body shaper has given me the confidence to wera a snug t-shirt again! Just wondering though…it does bunch a bit in the back, does anyone else have this problem?? Is it too big or too small??

I’m pretty new to the world of reshaping garments. I tried Spanx and was really disppointed . . . it’s only recently that I am learning about more on the market. I haven’t tried the Kymaro . . . and I’m going to be honest . . . since I became a representative with a company called Ardyss International I’m not about to. I am biased but I suggest that if you are seriously interested in reshaping your body find an Ardyss representative near you - they are tight and they are compression garments - but they really work and they don’t roll up or down. they were designed by an orthopedic surgeon and help allign your back and improve posture. There are 19 garments for women (all different styles) and 3 for men. I’m in Canada . . . if you are interested in learning more you can call me at 416-864-0469 . . . otherwise look online to find a representative near you for a consultation and fitting. It does work. Good luck to all.

My mom bought the top and the bottom for herself but then gave them to me. I wore the bottoms under my prom dress and I was able to dance the night away with out feeling jiggly. Thus I must say I really love the bottoms. I’ve yet to rly try on the top, but I have a feeling that I’ll be wearing both under my new school uniform. Can’t wait to feel confident!!
