well, i getting my first tattoo on May 16th. I know what to expect and i know how to take care of it. I'm just making sure I know all of it!
so when I get home, i clean my tattoo with liquid soap to clean off any dried blood. I pat it dry and apply a thin layer of Vaseline or Vitamin E on it. and apply it twice daily. I don't pick at it, i dont scratch it, i dont soak it, and im not supposed to tan. if it does get itchy i'm supposed to tap it gently... is there anything else I'm forgetting? I know alot of people ask this, but could i take like any like paracetamol or ibuprofen before i go in so it hurts less? or should i bring it with me so i can take it right after i get it done? Also, how long does it usually take to heal? I'm just getting all the facts before i go in! I'm getting it done on the back of my right shoulder.
