Of course, it doesn’t work. If it did they would sell it in stores. That’s how you know if a product that claims something extraordinary is legitimate or a fraud. The companies understand a customer that pays a relatively small fee for a mail order product, in most cases, won’t be bothered with returning it if they are unhappy with the results. If you bought it at Macy’s and it didn’t do what it said you would go back and return it.
Ratfat and Jeff. If you morons haven’t used this product and have anything but 1st hand experience with it the please keep your comments to yourself. In other words . . . SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPID TRIFLING ASSHOLES. Thanks.
LOL! I want to try it. I have bought so much crap from infomercials that DOES NOT work… I should save my money. But I am one of those pathetic consumers. I will let you know what I find out.
The last product I purchased from a infomercial was NADS! I found that it was horrible and hurt so bad and you could not even get the remaining wax off due to the fact that i was so afraid to pull it off. What was I to do call Nadine who claims it was edible? No, I waited several years later when I finally saw the infomercial for smooth away! How terrible could it be they said painless! Well about 20 min ago I finally got it in the mail! After I used it I had to run to the computer to see what other people thought, that was afer I applied neosporin on my upper lip and legs. It is like using the buffer end of a nail file on your lip the burning has not yet gone away! Feels as if a layer of skin peeled off!
I ordered smoothaway 8weeks ago and still have not received it….but I do have alot of crazy charges on my card…..can’t get ahold of smoothaway but have managed to cancel the other two….where do these charges come from?
To anyone reading this, for your own good and not to throw money away, just shave, wax, or like me use removal creams. I’ve tried using them over and over again, and I’m certain these pads are absolute crap!
I noticed even in their commercial, you never actually SEE the stuff working on a hairy arm/leg…you’re fooled into thinking it is because they do it far enough from the camera that you can’t even see hair on the women’s legs!.. there’s no extreme close-ups at at, and there should be for actual proof!
Well here’s proof that even the people in the commercial didn’t have the stuff work for them… they’re probably the ones working at that company taking our money!
The only shot in the commercial that comes close to proving it works is the one with the male and his hairy chest… we fade in to see him ALREADY using the pad in one spot that we NEVER saw was hairy in the first place (we just “assume” it is because the rest of him is covered in hair).. then he removes it to see that the patch is smooth…BUT… we NEVER see that exact patch covered with hair in the first place… That man was already shaved/waxed/creamed and smooth before they did the shot!! Another thing, if the person uses the pad and there’s no stray hairs on their arm/leg… then where did the hair go?? We NEVER see it on the pad…on the floor….hmm well then it must still be there, or was never there to begin with!
I bet it only takes 5 bucks to make a box of this stuff and they try to sell it for 15 bucks plus shipping and handling. I’m ready to punch the person who thought this junk would work for most people!
Ok I’m done ranting, I feel a little better for wasting money on something useless… but still feel upset because people are still trying this stuff thinking it’ll work.
It does not work. I got it today in the mail, and tried it. It makes crop circle hairs on my chest, and I followed the directions to the letter. It is a very poor product and I do not recommend it. What a waste of money!
dis shit works like sandpaper. its garbage. I used it on my pubes last night and my sis tried it on her ass crack and all it did was leave a huge rash. fuckin bullshit.
k i went to the mall and they had them there and the lady used my friends leg it did work like it took it right off and there was alot of hair on her leg she said it didnt hurt but like i have read so many mixed reviews on it but the real thing that i dont understand is like… how the hell is it removing the hair thats all i wanna know like seirously
if its not pulling it out from the root how is it growing back thinner and thinner each time like it doesnt make sense i am so confused because it actually did remove the hair when the lady did it
Ok I’m honestly don’t think that half of the people who have left these nasty negative comments have even used this product!
To reply to JEFF: This product is indeed sold in stores. I have seen it with my own eyes.
To reply to everyone who sent in a negative comment: I got these for my birthday last week and they work GREAT. Honestly, I really would not ever want to go back to razors. Of course sometimes i will have to, but Smooth Away works great and is wonderful who have sensitive skin, like me.
Unlike half of these boneheads, I highly recommend them.
Hope this helped.
PS- To reply to Dee: Oh my goodness, i am so with you on that one! I’ve been wondering the same thing myself! If anyone knows, please tell us! Thanks!
PSS- to reply to Kosha boi: Kind of odd.. but yes, you can.
Xmas gift. We tried it today. Pads did nothing. Did not remove hair, only a mild 3M sandpaper. Tried on legs, arms, chest. Would not remove fine hair, would not remove course hair. Go to ACE Hardware and buy some emery paper and rub it on yourself if you want to try this product, it will cost you a lot less.
OK i just used it and it does “buff” away the hair. if you do it too hard it will get red and irratated. My legs feel somewhat smooooth, you kinda need to work it to get all the hair off, tiringgggg. Not the best product butt for the people who say because its on tv its crap not true UMM….proactiv ive had that for somepeople it didnt do anything for others it was a miracle depends on who you are…back to the smooth away i suggest this for people who have fine hair areas they want to get rid of

I’m pretty sure it just depends on the type of hair and skin you have.
Either the people who say it works for them work for the company that sells them…or, it actually did work for them. We will never really know.
Why am i even posting this?
