i was at monster massive, it was fun except when i was walking around the rave.. it is very packed, hot & crowded.. i was walking through the crowd and i felt a slight pinch. and told my bf it felt like someone pinched me. he flipped out and took me to the restroom to look at my arm and i didnt see anything. i thought i got a pinch cause somebody pinched me or maybe because i was wearing a gazillion bracelets along with a tiffanny and Co bracelet look alike on my arm. he is scared that i might have been injected with hiv.. -_- i am now a little scared toooo ! what do you think happened? i heard its called pricking? or something? but if someone were to inject me with something wont it take more than 1 second? did they poke me with a needle really fast? cause i dont think that is the case. if they were to inject me with something i think i would know... but what does it mean when someone "prick" you at a rave? can anyone help me out.. im a bit paranoid now. please anwser all my questions above.

i just started going to raves and have heard this from almost everyone i go with. This does happen but there is so for sure way that HIV can be transmitted. i would really go to a doctor and maybe they can tell you more information about it. if you get any information please write back, i would like to know for my own safety. if this is happening then i for sure am not attending anymore

dude they call it the GIFT stupid ediots or Fucks. ishould say go around poking their infected skin wit small sowing needles or anything of that sort and spread the HIV. aids, syphalis, even hepatities. wat ever thay want to screw you over wit. come on you swear like they even fucken searched us for anything before we went in it would of been so easy to bring a few needles wit you hidden anywere. went to kandy fest 09 at the hudson theater…..had a blast but when i got home i noticed a lot of prick marks on my hands, arms, legs mostly on the pelvis side by where the hands hang…..and a couple on my feet….yeah i know i was wearing vans so its easy to get through….anyways i remember seeing someone take out a needle from a wrist watch he was wearing….it wasnt a syringe needle but a sewing needle….and as soon as i looked at him he quickly put it back in…..it was then when i noticed people pointing and making pricking signs in the air like saying prick that guy….i ran out of there….i remember feeling a few but did not pay much attention to them….i remember feeling water dripping down on my head too….someone else told me thats what getting prick with a needle feels like on ecstacy…getting tested tomorrow and for every 3 months up to a year…..it does happen and its real….

ive been raving for a couple months now and am always paranoid im getting pricked by people. after reading “jbs” post ive felt “water drips” on my head often at raves and now im scared that i really have been getting poked and was not just paranoid. if you were to be poked, would there be any noticable signs after?? help.

i have the same problem. about 6 days ago i went to a gay pride march, i was dancing and i felt something poke me. i kept dancing but kept an eye out. it felt like a bug bite, but now im really scared and i dont know what to do!! i told my dad and he said its probably nothing,just a bug bite, i need to see a doctor!!

I Got Pricked by a Needle at the “get funky” massive in utah, bottom line is do not go to a rave if you dont to take the risk. I am going to get tested soon and i pray to god that i wasnt infected.

There have been NO reports of people getting pricked by needles and contracting anything at raves since the rumor started. If people really contracted HIV or AIDS from that, it would be all over the news.

i was at a rave 2 nights ago ‘glowbal unity’ september 19th, 2009. i was enjoying myself in mainstage practicaly the whole night. and i ended up hearing from a few people that there wer pokers in the rave. so i asked security guards an it was true. they said a person in a gas mask with biohazard shirt was going around pricking people with needles. lots of people got poked and they only found 1 of the guys with needles. it was still happening so 1 or 2 were still out there. i guess they like to go in groups. an i heard at hard summer. which was a month ago or something. was a BIG group of pokers. so yes its true that there are pokers in raves. just dont piss off the wrong kind of people. stay away from people in gas masks.. or scary looking costumes.. have a friend watch your back for you. or just sit against a wall so that you can face everyone infront of you. when i found out about it in my rave i never left the couch untill it was over. so be carefull out there. i feel really bad for all those people who are now infected with aids. its dangerous raving!

i just went to nocturnall on sat 2009 and i got poked it happened so quick i didnt even have a chance to look at who did it i went to the doctors in the morning now i have to have test done every 3months and wont know any results for 3months ppl please be careful watch your surroundings

I went to Nocturnal 09 also but I never heard about anything to do with pokers until I got home. My boyfriend saw scabs on his foot and thought it might have been pokes but I’m pretty sure they were just scrapes because the way the scabs healed. Most of the night I stayed at the top of the stadium or outside of the pit. I don’t like to get too far in and I just make sure that my group is always around me when I go to raves and especially massives. One thing I don’t understand though, why would people do it? Is it if you just happen to piss off the wrong people or they just like do it at random?

Last night i went to a rave and there were there guys with blacks masks i didnt know about prickers until this girl at the door told me what was happening and i started feeling sick but maybe its in my head and i have a lot of scratchess in my back but i never felt getting pinchedd but i feel weird cuz i talked to that guy who was prickinnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the stupidest shit ive ever heard! First off if your worried about the HIV stop cause it cant survuve outside the body, it would have to be contained in something that would maintain the right environment for it to survive, and then injected from that directly into your body, like a seringe. then it can only survive in that for minimal amount of time… minutes. Second, its total bullshit made up to scare the younger kids from the rave scene cause they make it a bust by getting stupidly fucked up! i remember when this stupid rumer when around my town when i was younger that there were needles in movie seats and public telephones! ive been to most of the massives for the last 8 years and a lot of the small parties and ive NEVER SEEN IT happen! i am going to monster massive this year and hope you all dont let some stupid urban legend stop you from having fun this halloween! Also dont be an idiot! If people look shady stay away, for a million other reasons other than “pricks”! If they look sick and diseased dont make out with them! Dont fall asleep! I went to monster massive last night. its my second rave, my first being noctunal 09. I never believed in pricking. but last night while in line to see felix. I felt a pinch. I looked to see what it was but didn’t see anything. though it felt like I had just got a shot. immediately I told my friends & they pulled me out of the line to check my arm. then all of a sudden I felt really hot, i got really sweaty on my arms & face. as I was leaving I heard a girl crying out she had gotten pricked. I didn’t panic until then. I just woke up about an hour ago. my arms sore & there seems to be a slight bruise. I informed my brother, he’s taking me to get tested tomorrow. I’ve been shacking this intire time. nevertheless crying my eyes out. praying that everything will be ok. if I did get pricked im hoping it was a drug & not a viruz or a std. whether the outcome is good or that is my second & last rave. people are evil. be careful.

last night i was at monster massive 09, my friend hadn’t eaten any pills, but i ate 2 pills. We were covering a lot of ground, it was moved to outdoors this year. He was waliking fast, i was following but i was kind of rollin and shit… next thing you know, i bump into a little girl. i flailed my right arm into her, and we bumped. Through my sweater I felt her hands, and sensed something sharp, maybe just a finger nail or my imagination. I can’t say that I felt a prick but like, like i said i sensed something…. this was really scary because my imagination was running wild and i thought that was what they called a widow. A widow being a girl who is saddened by her having hiv or whatever, and is at those parties with a stern vengence, fucked up and shooting her needle from out her sweater, she is scary as fuck. Poor little girl, it touched my heart because i got a dose of the reality of it. At raves, you know, everyones goin nuts and dancin and doesn’t care, nobody gives a shit too much. Well i thought there were sick dudes who would stick you, but widows…. are little girls who are devastated and demented. This bitch really scared me. I’m an older guy so i really don’t think she could stick me. I can’t tell you if she was really a poker. this was just all too weird. i think im just trippin

i told my friend to slow the fuck down, haha, i told him now i have an idea of what a widow is… he and i were really feeling down it was like a story book to us. after i bumped into that girl, i thought about that “welcome to my world” shit… it became apparent, this was unfortunate, this was a bit much for me. okayy so at the end of monster massive 2009 i was walking through the tierschwartz guys part and i was following sum friends as we went through a crowd.. All of a sudden i felt something rubbing on my butt and i turned around and sum gay guy in a hospital gown had his pelvis on me. I think he might have grabbed my hand but i don’t remember. When he noticed that i noticed he disappeared followed my two other men in hospital gowns. All of a sudden i couldn’t find my friends and was tripping. Later, I found two scratches on my left hand. Could I have been poked? and if so with what?

i just went to Get Freaky ‘09 in Utah for Halloween, my girlfriend had to use the bathroom so we went back by the girls bathroom. When my girlfriend came out she said there was this kid in the back crying so i went back to look. Sure as hell he was balling his eyes out. His friends were there along with some security guards and he was holding his arm which was red at the time. we got closer to see what had happened and apparently he had just got stabbed with a syringe and injected with something, and somebody said “welcome to the aids family”.apparently this was happening all night because another girl got poked by a syringe, and had the same thing said to her. we immediately left and saw the sherrifs showing up, along with black SUV’s and when the people got out of them the back of their jackets said FBI. i was on walking around the halls when i think crystal castle was playin.i was going up in to the seats when i felt somenbody poked my shoulder,i was rolling balls so i didnt get a chance to turn around or anything,i started thinkin all this crazy stuff.. so the next morning i knew i had gotten poken so i checked in the mirror and you could see a little needle bruising and ring around.I was freakin out so i went to the doctors immediately. i went to monster massive 08 and got poked dude you have no idea wat i went through for nothing i talk to every health care clinic from diego to the bay it is a one and a million chance u will get aids that way even if they were hiv infected you still would most likey get hepatietis if anything witch would still suck tho but i got tested after about 11 months cause it takes about 6 months to a year to find out and i was clean even if you had sex or like shared body fuilds by needle with somone with hiv its still only 50/50 chance u would get it aids is alot harder of a diaese to get then you think or else everyone would have it (but still always use condoms and be safe) every 3 min a cop somwhere in the world sticks there hand into a herowin addicts pocket and gets poked most of the addicts have hiv do you no how many cops will get it after NONE!!!!!!!! people trust me ull live

I was at TAo and I think i saw 2 men poking girls and I think I was one of them because I felt a pinch in my back and when I turned I saw the two men behind me but i wasn’t sure if it was an itch or a poke but I deep inside i knew it stung a little… I saw two men roaming around and getting close to girls it looked suspiscious.. I didnt know what to do and i was really scared but i was also on drugs so i didnt know what to think… I checked my back and I have a closing a wound that looks like a pimple but i dont think it’s one…..

hi i went to a rave n i felt a little burn, and i checked outside what was it n i have nothing but still got a burn sensation, and i go check out the aid symptons and i think its in my head but i been feeling sore throat, n little headache, and its been raining here in los angeles for a week, and it was cold that night i went out, and i’m just scared but i got no wound or anything..is it just my head???
