    Something funny has been going on with this company for the past 3 weeks.The web site is down and the phone number given on the construction page is a non existant number.They have also changed their address of the premises 3 times in as many weeks.I didn’t receive my glasses but claimed my money back through paypal.I have also reported them to trading standards in Bolton and to the police.If you have purchased spectacles through paypal from Ispectacle and not received them start a disput in paypal a.s.a.p.

    I ordered Prada glasses around the same time and i have received my glasses and more than extremely pleased and was cheaper than any other company site.

    They did inform me that the site is being updated and I checked the site this morning and it has been updated.

    I have recently had a pair of Playboy glasses from ispectacle.com. I found their service fantastic. Easy to use and they kept me informed every step of the way, from ordering to recieving. Very fast service with great results. If I were in your position I would look at emailing them and trying to resolve the problem as they have been fantastic with me, I have no complaints with them

    I ordered my Bench glasses on Monday and was pleasently surprised when they turned up in the post on Friday even thought they Quoted 7-14 days. I cannot fault their service . Saved me a small fortune as my local optician quoted me well over ?100 for the same pair. Just placed another order now. I wouldn’t have ordered from them if i had read steve’s post . Well i’m glad i didn’t read your post now. The good think about paypal is now you are completely covered for the full amount.

    I spent ?115 on their website 12 weeks ago, since then they have given me a variety of excuses about why I haven’t received my glasses, they promised that they would give me a full refund a week ago and I still havent, I have emailed them every day asking them to confirm when I will get my refund and have been completely ignored. I used my debit card as I dont have a credit card and my paypal account wouldnt work. Any advice?

    I ordered a pair of rayban glasses for my daughter 6 weeks ago. I phoned them twice and was told they are awaiting delivery of frames from Italy. The 3rd time i phoned the phone numbers are invalid, so i phoned the mobile number where i managed to get through. I was told there was a back log but my glasses have been discontinued and was offered a refund within 3 days. I am still awaiting that ?85 refund. any advice please as how to claim it back from paypal ?

    Have ordered from Ispectacle in the past and been pleased with the service, although found them a little slow. This time however I have not received my glasses since ordering on June 15th and been given all the usual promises and excuses when phoning since. I have opened a dispute with Paypal today because they only give you 45 days from date of transaction to do it.

    i ordered a pair of glasses for ?115 in June and i still haven’t received them. my boyfriend spoke to them today and they conveniently said they posted them today and they would email me the tracking number….surprisingly enough i never recieved any emails with the tracking number. raised a dispute with paypal today and hopefully will get my money back….i’d much rather have my nice glasses thoguh.

    I have now received my order and I would just like to say that I am extremely satisfied with my new glasses and the transition lenses which I ordered. They were delivered in the 7-10 day time frame as promised and they arrived in perfect condition, not to mention that the total cost was a fraction of the cost of the same glasses in my local opticians. I was a little dubious after placing my order as the invoice I received by email didn?t tie in with my order, but you promptly sent me an invoice showing the correct details. I have to admit, that did leave me thinking ?what have I done … I should have gone to local optician?. However, I cannot sing your praises enough and I have spent all weekend telling people about my purchase and giving out your website address. Keep up the good work!Regards,

    Just received my glasses from ispectacle . took about 14 days for the prada frames was expecting them within a week but according to them they had to order the frames from the manufacturers. Very happy with the glasses though especially the price ?110 for the glasses with all the coatings ve wanted ?250 for the same pair. What a profit margin!!!!

    I ordered glasses from here about 2 months ago. Recieved them late and the order was incorrect. contacted the company by email (the phone number sent me through to someon who i wouldnt consider a native english speaker) and was assured they would replae the order.
    I sent my glasses back four weeks ago (possible longer) but have not heard from them since.
    I would avoid. If buying glasses online stick to the companies that the Which? directory has checked out!!!!

    i ordered a pair of glasses from them, They emailed me to say my frame had discontinued. i asked for a refund, spoke to them a number of times on the phone. emailed a large number of times but never had response! i chased
    them for 6 weeks!! They finally sent my discontinued glasses?!? have had my glasses for a week now and the lense is coming out on left side!! people that have been lucky with ispectacle congrates!! woulnt order from there again!!!

    Purchased Prada’s ?104, these were ?150 on line 14th September, Very little communication back as to where my order is. I have sent a complaint email….nothing back, asked for a call back….nothing. I have now filled a dispute with Paypal, to be honest I wish I had paid ?150 elsewhere I would have had the bloody things by now. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE it isnt worth the energy for the few quid saved!

    Ordered Prada Pr 19iv which are my dream glasses . Ordered about 5 weeks back but was told the manufacturers have a 4 week backlog and will have to wait . was about to cancel when I started reading some of these reviews. They were about ?70 cheaper than the next cheapest online retailer and ?200 cheaper than optical express. Just turned up today and can’t express how delighted i am (took exactly 5 weeks). Glad I didn’t cancel the order. There comunication ain’t that fantastic but got my glasses at the end . Got my eye on another pair from their site.

    I have recently used this company I would not recommend them. First my order was late and I had to put in a claim through Paypal they finally did turn up only to find the lenses had been fitted very, very badly and were bursting out of the nice designer frames I paid ?120 for. I took them in to town to see if they could be repaired but no one will touch them. I have tried to contact the company all mails are returned as failed which is the same for every email address they have the form to contact them on their site does not work as again comes back as failed. There is no telephone number on their web site and any I have found through the internet the lines are dead. The address on their internet site is wrong and having done some research they move every month also. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO TRADING STANDARDS! DO NOT USE THEM! BUYER BEWARE!

    Don not but from this company. I ordered a pair of versace sunglasses 31st January and am still waiting for my order. My emails that I have sent were being returned. I’m contacted trading standards, Paypal and my credit card company are trying to retrieve my funds.

    Total con artists. Spent ?100+ on glasses and still no sign of them. I have chased them numerous times but every time they have given a series of excuses. Wished I never ordered from them. The owners mobile is 07863 174528 as no landline number exists.

    The mobile number got me through to some guy that said orders have been delayed. he gave me number of:
    01617620612 but no one answers. Ring his number, he wouldnt give me his name strange…..One for watchdog???

    I ordered a frame only from ispectacle over 5 weeks ago and have not received my order. Have emailed several times and no replies! Found this page on google and was horrified to hear there are numerous others in the same position.
    After reading the last customers comments I rang the landline number given and got through.
    I was assured I would receive my order and there are supplier delays, but the person who deals with ordering won’t be in until Monday next week! I advised the lady the office most likely would have moved premises and contact details by then and suggested I would be reporting them to Trading standards. A case for Watch dog i think!

    Im fed up with this company, wasted hours of my precious time. DO NOT ORDER FROM ISPECTACLE if you value your time and ???. I have sent numerous email which they have not responded. I have called the mobile number but the guy at the other end always fobs me off with various excuses. Its been 2mths+ and still no glasses!!!!. Will be reporting to Trading Standards.

    spoke to a lady on 01617620612 ~ told me bloke from uptais on holiday till monday ~ call back then ~ she said no problem with glasses ~ its just a single bloke who does it and when he goes away stuff gets delayed. She works for eye sight opticians although I couldnt come up with that when i searched for it.

    Its all a bit strange, but i havent given up hope yet - wont deal with again - and wish i had found these pages before I brought by hey ho thought, like all of us,, I was onto a good thing. a fool and his money and all that!!!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY– I had previously used them about 2 years ago and they were very good, so i thought I was safe. So I ordered two pair of glasses and heard nothing after two weeks (they state 7-10 working days) so I emailed them - No response, I tried to call them - no contact numbers, and the one on paypal does not work.

    I read a lot of complaints on line about them and did a bit digging and found out that the company has been taken over, and that it keeps moving address, and was told ny numerous people not to buy from them– To late

    I opened a querry with paypal and on the 11th hour they told paypal that I had recieved my glasses, the next day i recieved 1 pair of glasses that were totaly incorrect, and the quality was like something from the 50 p shop.

    I am currently in the process of reclaiming my money from paypal, and the credit card company, and I will definately be reporting them to trading standards

    This is a geniune complaint- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM- and if you have used them and expired a similar problem please email your complaint to trading standards- people like this should not be allowed to trade !!

    I am too in the same situation as the others on this forum. I tried to claim back the ?120 from Paypal via their online system but was told I couldn’t open a dispute for this. I contacted my credit card company and after a few weeks they got back to me and said as I didn’t make a direct transaction with the company, they couldn’t take the matter further. They are still trading and something needs to be done to shut them down.

    I recently purchased a pair of Prada spectacles from ispectacles and am happy to say they arrived 5 working days later. It’s the first time I’ve ordered spectacles online and needless to say if I’d read the reviews on this site I wouldn’t have! I’m very happy with the service I’ve received and would order from them again.

    Ordered a pair of specs on 15th June 2010. Just got a refund via paypal. I was lucky, I placed order using paypal then read reviews here and thought OMG! So glad I used paypal. Has just been resolved. I continually emailed them asking where my glasses were and each time it was either “order being processed” or “will be dispatched this week”. Never arrived so went thru paypal process to make a claim. Shame as my Husband got some specs from them a couple of years ago with no problems and was really pleased with them. I only spent 27.50 so not massive amount but having to wear a 6 yr old pair as mine broke hence reason for purchase. Will use a more credible and trusted site from now on - may pay more but at least won’t be messed around.

    UPDATE:
    Pair of spectacles just arrived after paypal said they would refund me. I now have really lovely glasses - just glad I held out as I was desperate for a pair and was looking at other sites. Shame it has to get to the stage of getting refunds via paypal in order to get your goods.
