I need a new pair of walking/running shoes (the pair has to be good for both) I've always stuck with Nike and Reebok but Kohls has a nice Avia pair for a good price. Is Avia a good brand?

I can french braid other people's hair, but I have so much trouble doing my own. I can braid it right, but I keep dropping bits of hair and they get tangled and what not. Does anyone have any tips? and if i use kool aid or tea to dye my hair, how long will it last?
