My hairs quite discoloured and burnt. I straighten my hair everyday and although I know the best way is probably to stop, I just cant. Am I not straightening properly and whats the best heat protection to use that doesnt make hair flat and greasy? thanks x

I'm about to head into class, today I'm wearing one of my shirts with rolled sleeves, I'm wondering if a tie (plain black) would be too much or if I should just wair the shirt with a couple of buttons unbuttoned? (I'm in uni now so we can just wear day to day clothes, maybe a ties are only good for when going out at night?)
