I visit family in Denver every summer and would like to know if there are any designer sample sales going on this year? Or perhaps where I could find boutique items for a little less? i got my lip pierced yesterday and i got a stud put in i have to work tomorrow and i was wondering if i could just screw on the ball that is on this piercing and put on a smaller one just for work and then screw this one back on will it get infected this way or will it be fine?

My mom is trying to cut expenses when it comes to getting her hair done. In the past year she has been buying professional dye at Sally's. She also bought bleach, developer, and foils. She dyes her entire head medium ash blonde. I have been attempting to do her foils. The first time I did a less than a half head and we could barely see it. Last time I did a few more foils, and she complained because I put too much up front. Question 1: I heard that when highlighting, you should put a few more up front because that's where the sun hits. True or False? Today I also foiled my mom's hair (after she had done all-over dye), and she again unhappy. I put about as much in the back this time, but there was like a white-blonde bride-of-Frankenstein streak on one side near the front. I am guessing that this was for a few reasons: It was already blonder than the rest, and she left it on for almost a half hour but she's blaming me for it. I couldn't really see the highlights I put in the back. It doesn't look good but it doesn't look so horrible that she can't live with it until her gray roots come back. BTW I am 19 and in college (home for the summer), so I'm not just some 12 year old playing with bleach. Each time I use really tiny and thin pieces and NEVER a huge chunk. So my second question is, when she does dye it again, what should I do to make it more even? How do we fix it to make it look more natural?
