well i dont really have those Y shape hair nor so i have a W shape. But when i straighten my hair the ends of my layers kinda go up? Was it because i kept straightening my hair everday? Oh and i have a other question do Chi products work and is the Chi straightener great as they say it is?

I have really long hair.I havn't cut it for many years.I only do some trim every year.I put it into a long ponytail everyday. Many friends of mine told me that my hair should be cut. Too long was not the fashion.my friends said my hair would give some bad imperssion to the others such as gross,untidy.They told me to cut it short.Short hair is good for a me. My hair density is thick and the length is about 5cm now. For time being, I'm using Gatsby gel and I find that applying gel is really making fuss because my hair is kinda long and it is hard to manage. I'm on a plan to grow my hair for 3 months period and 1 month have successfully finished. So,what is suitable thing that I can apply on and badly need your suggestions guys!..help!..
