my hair is naturally kindof wavy and i was too lazy to do anything this morning so i put straighening mousse on it and let it air dry instead of diffusing it like it said to. now my hair is anything but straight and it is really really wavy. don't get me wrong, i love is like this. i was just wondering why the straighening mousse made it more wavy, is it because i didn't diffuse it?

I look around and my mom, my sisters and cousins use the same curling iron as me. There hair looks great. I suck at curling my hair. I want to look great tomorrow night and I'm tired of straightening my hair. I have a lot of split ends and dead hair right now that I need to get cut. I also have thick hair. Anyway, anytime I curl my hair, the ends end up looking a) burnt, b) frizzy, and 3)uncurled. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Like all of the curl except for the ends will look great. How do you give your hair loose curls (or regular) without the ends looking uncurled and/or burnt and frizzy? Any tips or advice? We only have two types of hairsprays, one of them being Rave and the other is called Aussie. I'm not real big on how to do hair. Any hair care products that I can pick up at Walmart or Family Dollar that are not going to cost a fortune? I plan to try to do it today and if it goes well, wash my hair tonight and redo it tomorrow. Thanks so much!
